Does Anyone like Cowboy Bebop Anymore

Does anyone still like Cowboy Bebop? Because my little brother :evil: Marc :evil: hates it and says that it is old and tired. But I love Cowboy Bebop and I have probly seen the whole series about 6 times and I am still watching it. So do any of you still like it THANKS! :anime:

I enjoy Cowboy Bebop, and it still is one of my all-time favorite anime (right next to Escaflowne), but 26 episodes and a movie will get you so far and then you're tired of it.

Well, I really like Cowboy Bebop. It's maturity, richness in plot, and the various types of characters (you have one old guy who's obsessed about bonzai plants, one guy who's chased by this crime syndicate he used to belong to, clever, and smokes a lot, one woman that has an unknown past will do anything to know about it and get some bucks, one girl who's a computer and hacker genious and very childish (she's 13, y'know), and a data dog who's actually really smart, and other characters, like the guy on one of the moons of Jupiter who crossdresses) really makes me like it. It's very humorous too.

I don't see why people hate it. Probably your brother hates it because of the bebop jazz tunes as the beginning opening theme song. I don't like it, but the anime itself is wonderful.

If you're sick of CN rerunning it, don't watch. Quit complaining that it "ruined" it. It wouldn't be "ruined" if you didn't keep watching it every time they air it. Just because CN airs some anime, doesn't mean they owe you a constant flow of new stuff. Change the channel, or turn the TV off if you don't like it.

By that rationale, CN "ruined" Trigun, Dragonball Z, Inu Yasha etc. Cowboy Bebop, reguardless of being reran a lot, is still (all round) one of the best anime series ever. I don't say that about really any anime series (even Evangelion, my true love), but Bebop has all the makings of a great series. You are a fool to fault it because of syndication.

It's still good, but then again, I don't get Adult Swim up here in Canada, so I don't get the sense of "overkill" that people that do get Adult Swim might. I only watch it from my DVDs.

Bebop is still one of my favorite anime series and I have seen the entire series and the movie at least 12 times now.

I stopped watching CB on Adult Swim a long time ago for the very reason I didn't WANT to get sick of it. To answer your question, however, speaking for myself, a very big emphatic YES! :D

Unfortunately, Bebop is becoming on AS what Led Zeppelin is to classic rock radio...great band, but after the 1,000,000,000,000,000th time you hear 'em, you find yourself changing the channel even if you're a fan.

But as long as certain parties cry, complain, *****, moan and whine and in some cases threaten everytime AS puts it on hiatus, the more they'll keep re-running it. It's really a double-edged sword, because I love Bebop to death, but...yeeesh.

I like CB. Sure, it is no where near being one of the best series ever, but it is quite good. I don't crave anything new though since the anime had the perfect ending. The movie was good, but a little too long.
