Who likes Lacrosse?

So anybody here play Lacross. Right now I am hanging out in Maryland and my step brothers play the game. I've been watching it and it looks like a lot of fun. they scoop up the ball and toss it to the other team mates while the other team tries to knock them down to get the ball.
I tried playing it but it was pathetic I threw the ball and it went a direction I did not want it to go.
one of my brothers also has the longest hair because he says its the style for lacross players.
So who plays it or what are your thoughts?

I tried lax back in high school and its a good sport if you can master the mechanics, but I never warmed up to it as everyone was so far ahead of me in terms of skill. Also getting hit with a lax ball being whipped out of a lacrosse stick is no fun. It's brutal actually.

It's brutal actually.The girls lacrosse team at my university isn't too shabby (though not #1), plus they are tough yet very attractive girls and usually rather pleasant. I cheer for them.

That is the extent of my knowledge about Lacrosse. :sad:

I'd never even heard of Lacross until I saw American Pie. Shows how up-to-date my town is, doesn't it.

I did see something on SportsCenter where a guy died when he got hit during a college game. Kinda makes me shy away from it.

I know lacross. I am the center foward on my travel team. I also play golie and well as mid field.

My brothers are actually going to those games and today my oldest one tricked a guard into letting him sit in a box seat and he never got in trouble for it. Tommorrow the youngest one gets to sit in the governors box, I wish I could go with him.

I think I have probably said the word "lacrosse" about three times in my entire life so no not really. But I think if I played it I would have a lot of fun.
