Ok. Few things on Alan Moore's League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

First off, when will volume three come out? I've heard evrything from late 2005 to late 2003. Of course, I'll wait as long as I have to. Don't want to end up like Teddy Teague...

Second, what will Volume three be about? I've (again) heard everything from the Lost World to Tales of Past Leagues to Les Hommes Mysteriaux to something involving the novel 1984.

And finally, does anyone know where I can find notes on the LoEGv2 HC? I'd like to know what some of the references are in the bonus materials, as well as whether or not the hanged man on the cover is Punch, of Punch and Judy.

Howdy,

Can't help with the first two questions, since I don't know that there's been anything hard and fast on either.

These are Jess Nevins' excellent annotations to LoEG V2 (http://www.enjolrasworld.com/Jess%20Nevins/League%20of%20Extraordinary%20Gentlemen/LoEG%20index.htm).

I know of those, but they don't cover the HC items and he doesn't seem to be updating them.

From a comic rumour site about the comic convention in Bristol, England:

On "League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen," Scott Dunbier stated a guarantee there would be no delays on the third series, and that Kevin O'Neill is well into it. He also gave a guaranteed no-Tom-Sawyer clause.

(Didn't actually say when it it to come out...)

The No-Sawyer bit is good enough for me. He should be dead by the turn of the century, anyway.
