I see no one has posted any comments for this past week's eps yet, so I'll do my best.:p

Pokemon Ep #1: "Now That's Flower Power!"--May starts training her Beautifly for her first Pokemon contest; we also meet her opponent, Drew and his Roselia

Pokemon Ep #2: "Having a Wailord of a Time"--on the way to the next town, they stop off at a Pokemon center to watch over Pokemon while Nurse Joy helps a sick Wailord.

Both eps weren't much though.

Yugioh: Parts 2 & 3 of Joey vs Marik--too hard to explain, they'll be on again later this week if anyone missed them. I thought they were both exciting! My only gripe: why did they have to leave off at that point?! I already know what'll happen:

Marik's "Winged Dragon of Ra", in it's Phoenix form, almost cremates Joey, and poor Joey gets sent to the Shadow Realm.:( Then, they start the duel between Yugi & Kaiba. No doubt we should see Yugi's Slifer go against Kaiba's Obelisk.

Well, I might not have given much detail, but I tried.:) Comments?

Only saw the first episode of Pokémon, due to new episodes of Power Rangers DinoThunder and semi-new episodes of Gargoyles (which is easily the best show on Saturdays right now).

It's good we're finally getting to May's first Pokémon Contest, and I guess Drew is an interesting rival, even if he seems to be exactly like Gary with a different hairdo.

Wow, is this talkback late or what?! Let's see if I can even remember.... :D

Pokemon:

Eh, the only thing I can remember is Mr. "Big" saying he's great at "shop." ;)

Yugioh:

1. If I didn't know any better, I'd say Joey was getting coaching from the gang, which should be illegal.

2. I thought that "white hand" trap (Helpoema?) missed a turn there. Maybe Joey didn't have any monster cards or an animation goof?

3. So Jinzo differentiates a trap card from a magic card?

4. Y'know what I've been thinking for a while. It's too bad the Millennium Eye got eliminated from the series so early (it seems Bakura can't use it). It's one of the most powerful of the items. Imagine if someone more capable than Pegasus, maybe someone who could even use a god card (Pegasus cannot), has the ability to see the opponent's thoughts. The other items really don't help much during battle except the ability to battle in the shadow realm using some lost soul with ancient experience. But the Millennium Eye, now that one gives a direct advantage to its user.

Not Quite

Marik attacks using the Phoenix form of the Wing Dragon of Ra. Joey's Gilfred The Lightening is destroyed and Joey is struck with severe pain. Everyone thinks it's over and Marik starts gloating. However, Joey gets up, shocking everyone, espically Marik. In the dub, this will probably be the point where Joey remembers his promise to save Mai and to save the "world" for Yami Yugi. In the original though, he's reminded of his promise to duel Yugi and get his Red Eyes back. He draws a card, which turns out to be Gearfried the Iron Knight and plays it. Now, if he had called out "attack" he would of been able to trounce Marik's now powerless God Card, and win the duel, saving Mai, and saving the Earth. But Joey passes out before he can utter the last syallable of the word (think Goku at the end of his battle with Jackie Chun in the 21st World Martial Arts Competition). He isn't set to the Shadow Realm, but in the original, everyone thinks he's dead. The episode after that starts the Kailba/Yugi duel. It takes till the second part of that duel to see them get they're god cards out, and in the 3rd part they battle with them

3. So Jinzo differentiates a trap card from a magic card?
Technically, Jinzo shouldn't be able to destroy the Trap Cards (then again, this series had Giant Soldier of Stone destroy a Magic/Spell Card), the Trap Card should just sit there lifeless until Jinzo's destroyed.

I was waiting for somebody to make a talkback to these episodes just so I could quote:

Litle girl's dad: "I want this treeco(sp?) to be my partner." Just where is that family's mother anyway? ;)

Yes.....I'm dirty in the head.
