Nickelodeon's Bank Holiday Monday airing of Matilda seems to have been a success, with an unusually high rating of 210,000, this is far higher than the other Nick shows where Two of a Kind still dominates. The CBBC Channel is back to buisiness as usual with ratings up to 190,000 people, which was for an airing of popular show , Tracy Beaker. Nothing special for Cartoon Network , it's special Bank-Holiday Edd-Ache (Ed, Edd n Eddy marathon) not even getting to the top ten. Jetix takes over Fox Kids again , every Jetix show seems to be hitting the top ten apart from the anime Shaman King. Personally I think this is beacuse of it being scheduled at 3 pm, when the majority of children are still at school.

I think 3 things would majorly help CN-

1. A cut down on airing so many repeats

2. Not having Toonami as a seperate channel. It took all the ratings grabbing action shows with it and doesn't really have the content to support a 24 hour network

3. The Adult Swim shows.

i completely agree, but I think Toonami could remain as a seperate channel, and then bring the Toonami block back to CN from 4 - 6. The reason i think this could work is because people who view on top up tv, don't have Toonami at all, and seems like a mighty waste of the more action hearted viewers.

Second thing that annoys me is the scheduling of both Shaman King and Pokemon in the dead 3 pm slot, while Fox Kids have a get out clause with their plus one channel, who the heck are Toonami aiming for? I think Fox Kids should move Jetix forward an hour from 4pm - 8 pm or even just shorten it to three hours (4-7) and move Black Hole High out of the block.
