I hadn't seen "Symphony in Slang" in years. What an experience in nostalgia for me. "I was born wit' a silver spoon in my mout'..." "What'sa matter? Cat got'cher tongue?" [Zip pan to smiling cat holding atongue in its paw]. I wonder if the artists on Histeria! used Avery's St. Peter as a model for Father Time?

All through "T.V. of Tomorrow", I was thinking, "That's the d***est thing...I thought guys loved westerns." My father was a great officianado of cowboy pictures.

I thought it was elephants who were rumored to fear mice, not lions. Fav bit: the mouse, inside the lion's stomach, plays a zylophone solo on his ribcage.
