This episode was so good! It was a great farewell to the series, and is just keeping me waiting for Fleet Street, which looks awesome. That last shot with Bobby just sitting there at the desk almost teared me up. This is an A.

Not a big Practice fan so I expected to be let down so I wasn't disappointed. I think the thing that irked me most about this episode was that instead of being about Bobby, Eugene, Elenore, and Jimmy saying goodbye to the practice it was more of a pilot for Fleet Street. That's a crummy thing to do to the audience and the characters. I'm used to David E. Kelley whoring his characters but on a series finale it was unforgivable. Score:*.

I'm used to David E. Kelley whoring his characters but on a series finale it was unforgivable. Score:*.That's not really fair. We've been seeing those characters for the last several episodes. And in this particular episode, most of the time by far was devoted to the regular cast members. Most of the "Fleet Street" scenes involved Spader and Mitra, both of whom are part of the Practice cast this season. DeMornay had limited screen time. Shatner and Lake (what's her last name?) both were featured in a lot of scenes, but those involved Alan Shore.

I missed the first half hour, but I'm surprised Hannah didn't try to sue Ellenor for assaulting her. Did Hannah mention the punch during the first half of the show?

I don't mind Spader and Mitra because they're cast members but there was too much Shatner, Bell, and, yes, even De Mornay. I felt the last episode should have been devoted to the people who were on the series for eight years. Like I said, I wasn't disappointed because I expected them to get shafted.

It makes sense for them to have screentime--so it doesn't seem all awkward when Fleet Street (which is now going to be called "The Practice: Fleet Street" I believe). I mean, who would want to turn on the show and say "Who the hell are these people?"

EDIT: I should also add that Eugene got a fair amount of time, Jimmy's getting a LOT more time than he was throughout the season when he barely even had a LINE, I can't stand Jamie, and Ellenor is probably the best female character I've ever seen in any TV show.

Plus, what's going to be new or interesting about focusing all the attention on Bobby or bringing back Lindsay to be attacked for the 856th time?

I AM glad Lindsey wasn't back, but I would have preferred more Eugene, Elenore, Jimmy, and Bobby.

And they're calling it "The Practice: Fleet Street"? How lame is that? What, are the viewers stupid and can't see the connection without branding? Sheesh, a spin-off I don't mind but if they think about turning the Practice into a Law & Order or CSI franchise I will be upset.

I hope Jimmy's firm is involved in the new show...cutting back and forth between firms is what's helped balance the sillyness of the "Fleet Street" storylines...I'm not sure they can stand on their own.

And can Alan go back to being the unethical badass lawyer with a heart of gold, rather than crying over Tara or being Shatner's lackey?

Well, I read something about them asking Vincent Pastore to join the cast of FS, but I doubt it will happen.

No way! Jamie's hot!

You know, now that you mention it, that would be a funny running gag if everytime Lindsey entered a scene she got knifed. That would be hilarious.
