The Toon Zone Forums will be closing Monday night at midnight (eastern time), in order to move Toon Zone to a new server.
If everything goes well, the forums will be open again by Tuesday morning. You may have trouble accessing the site for short periods on Tuesday, as the server will be tweaked for optimal performance which may require occasional rebooting.
If you have any questions, please post them here! Thank you for your cooperation and patience!

Before anyone asks, the reason we're moving to a new server is that Toon Zone consistently outgrows whatever server it's on within a year. This will be the sixth different machine in six years for us (actually more like 8th or 9th, since some of our hosts in the early days moved us to bigger machines because we kept crashing their shared servers!). This most recent server lasted about 11 months. God willing, the new one will contain us for a bit longer than that! It's always a pain to move, but it's good pain since it means that we're getting bigger and better. And we'll definitely need this new machine considering the plans we have for the future. So thanks for making Toon Zone so popular that it moves into a nicer home each year! And I hope you all enjoy the new place.

Semi-dumb question.
If we run into strange problems after the move, do you want us to contact a specific person or just any mod?
Thanks.

Just post about it here. I would expect that not receiving forum e-mails will be the biggest problem. They may not be received at all until our DNS change goes through.

Why not go to sleep? That's kind of why I try to do these things late at night.

Just able to post again, and now you're moving servers? Oh well. Hopefully, this won't give me any problems. So, everyone should be back in order fully my Wednesday?
They should be back in store by Tuesday Morning.
I have a problem about the home page. I can acess the forums and the rest of TZ, but when I go to the home page, everything's all spread apart. For example, the update colum is now three times wider than before. The home page affects both Mozilla and IE.

There's a problem with the counter that I should have fixed shortly. I just need to find the right music to play while I'm doing it.

I can't go to the "DB Idol" thread. And the Cafe Toonzone is taking an extra minute or two to load. It's no big, but I thought you might want to know. :D

Okay. Should be good on the main page now.

The server's being tweaked here and there right now, so that's probably the cause of it. But let us know if it keeps happening into tomorrow.
