Summer Vacataion!

My break starts on May 19th. Plans? Well, hopefully I'll get my summer job back at the House on the Rock, a popular Wisconsin attraction. If not, I've applied for a couple other places, too.

Having said that, I wouldn't mind if I didn't get a summer job- sure, it would suck not getting a paycheck, but I need a break from school more than ever. This semester has been the toughest I've ever mustered.

my break started two weeks ago and I am so glad that semester was over. I'm actually leaving for vacation next saturday to pasadena Maryland which is a suburb of Baltimore and will not be back until the sixteenth of june almost a month, I can't wait either because my family is going to give me so much to do.

I was hoping to get a job but that does not seem possible because the economy is so bad here and no one is hiring. But once college starts up again I will be taking a work/study course that will give me flexable hours and some nice pay.

also this summer I will help out with softball at my old high school, coach always needs some extra help and its fun meeting old friends from the few seasons back.

Summer vacation-writing, west coast, might maybe going to a comic book convention, and hang with my friends.

Next summer is what I'm looking towards, since my graduation and birthday present is a trip to Japan.

Well, other than having volunteer work on Thursdays (and some Tuesdays) my vacation is all the time. I can't get work because of my artificial kidney and because I'd lose all my SSI benefits.:(

As for the summer, 6/11 I'm leaving for Asheville, NC for a few days. So far, the only interesting things they have are the Biltmore Estate and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Too bad we're not going in July, I would've loved the Scottish festival.:sad: :(

Well, here in Staten Island, as long as it doesn't get too hot, I do have a mini-golf course to go to. Plus, there's always the movie theater and my video arcade on the other side of the island.:)

My break already officially started a couple of weeks ago (my last exam was April 28th). Right now, I'm doing some freelance tutoring for high schoolers up until the time they finish classes (late June). If I can get a part-time summer job or volunteer work, then good. If I can't, then no big deal. I can use the time off. This was a tough school year.

As for fun stuff, the main thing should be a trip to Montreal sometime in the summer months. Other than that, my family's probably gonna be visiting relatives up north, which is usually pretty good. Besides that, I'll be taking it easy.

First day of summer vacation is June 11th, but the last day is a half day where we go back to school for grades on our finals, so no biggie.

Plans? Softball tournaments every weekend, driver's ed at the end, and hopefully my best friend from Atlanta will come for a week to visit.

17 school days, I can't wait.:D
