Another brilliant looking Pixar film. I call winner.

And the Cubs will not win the pennant this year, either.

Both bets are money in the bank. ;)

Looks pretty sweet. Just about any movie trailer that uses On Her Majesties Secret Service in it's trailer has got to kick.

Alright after seeing the Trailer.. (and watching it 3 Times in a Row.. all I have to say is Pixar has really outdone themselves.. and Disney can take a Flying leap for All I care..(Heck Eisner, you're no Superhero here, Steve Jobs is!...

Frankly seeing the Trailer makes you wonder why Disney just doesn't can Eisner, get Steve Jobs into the Walt Disney Company, and turn things around in both 2D and 3D animation.. I bet if he were in control, shows Like Kim Possible and even the Upcoming W.I.T.C.H. would be stellar with his innovated animation techniques with either improved 2D animation (what Pixar is planning to experiment with eventually) or 3D animation, And thus the old Hand Drawn cell animation will be put to rest, but as of right now, The potential is there for these shows and This movie to be a Real show of the future..

(it's always been intriguing to see if Jobs could pull off a Disney show in 3D and do it with this much clout.and believe me if The Incredibles went to a TV Show format it would be interesting to see!.

(Believe me The guys at Pixar need to get kudos for this go around, and Frankly this will make all the other Previous Pixar and Disney ventures look very tame by comparison (except for maybe Monsters Inc. which I call one of the few Disney classics in the Modern era that show that 3D is possible..and now with The Incredibles..it makes it highly probable that 3D animation is here to stay.. (now if they could only make 3D animation like that for Television, that would be so cool...(If it wasn't going to hurt us!) :D

So to Pixar a Big Yes.. But to Eisner.. hit the road jack, and don't you come back!

Initial preview rating of The Incredibles..9.8 out of 10.. but this could change as more trailers /teasers come out, and we get an idea of what Pixar is all about.

Didn't Pixar walk away from Disney...
That they did Paul, Just around the Last Week in January of this year.. However this was for the Talks for the renewal of the Contract between The Walt Disney Co. and Pixar that is Set to expire in early 2006..(The Same year Eisner's Contract Comes due..)

the interesting thing is that Pixar also has 2 more Pictures in the works (The Incredibles Due out in this November (which is some 2 months AFTER the End of Fiscal Year 2004 for The Disney Company , and of course Cars (Pixar's absolute Last Film in a Joint venture with Disney, which is due out sometime in 2005. After that.. Pixar is on it's own..

However Rumor has been circulating around the Trade Papers and even the Wall Street Journal if Disney got Rid of Eisner, there would be a good Chance that Pixar might return to the Bargaining table with The Walt Disney Co. to renegotiate the Contract with them (After all 2006 is just less than 24 months away.. However with that Jerk of a Dumb***, Mule of a Man Eisner not wanting to just up and walk out of Disney Co., Anytime Soon, you can bet that Pixar will go looking for someone else to Distribute their 3D material for a better price and a more Lucrative deal. (after all Pixar is really like Disney, Independent, but they needed Disney to Help Distribute their films.. (of course Disney got a "Fee" out of this, but after the re-negotiation talks broke down in January.. Pixar's Looking for a New Suitor..and believe me unless Eisner does go.. It's not going to be Disney..

Nuff Said,

:coyote:

Postscript: Let's hope we can shove that stubborn Mule of a Man Eisner out the Airlock before 2006..

Baltofan, I agree with you here. This is perhaps another Academny Award Winner in the Works (and it's just as funny!) .

If Pixar doesn't Get an Academy Nod for this one as well (after last year's Award Winning Performance for Finding Nemo, Then this will prove once and for All that Pixar is indeed the New Walt Disney Company.. and Eisner and His Group are Old Hat.. who need to realize.. that Pixar and Dreamworks SKG will walk all over them in Feature length Animation, as Cartoon Network/Time Warner is cleaning up in the Television sector.. and you wonder why we want to take Eisner and Shove him out the Airlock? (As Eisner would say.. Puh-LEASE!)

I wouldn't just give the Best Animated Feature Oscar to The Incredibles just yet. Don't forget Shrek 2, which has been getting seriously great reviews. :D

Don't forget Shrek 2, which has been getting seriously great reviews. :DThat's true Ray, but hey Where's Disney in all of this? What's the Best they can offer? Home on the Range? (Hate to say it, but Home on the Range is so well done right now in theaters, that you could "Stick a fork in it!" (Can we say Hamburger and T-Bone Steak?)

but Yeah I've heard and Seen the teasers and Trailers for Shrek 2 and I think that both of these movies prove one thing.. 3D animation is going to be around for a LONG time...but between The Incredibles and Shrek 2, this just proves that Disney needs to get their Mind out of the wallet and back into the Studio..

Having seen Shrek 2 in a preview showing, all I can say is that the movie just rocks when it comes to great humorous entertainment. :anime: I can't divulge what's in the film but gawd, I laughed almost from the first frame to the end! This movie is going to make a major bundle of money, to say the least.

The Incredibles should also be aware that The Polar Express is their only competition.

I can't wait for this film, which will further display the genius of Brad Bird (the man behind The Iron Giant), who's writing, directing, and even acting in this Incredible venture.

John Lasseter and Brad Bird apparently went to animation school together, and both post the number of their homeroom or some-such in both of their movies as a little gag. The number appeared on a license plate in Bird's short animated film "Family Dog", and I think this number appeared on another license plate in Toy Story. It makes sense that they're working under the same roof.

As far as this trailer, the animation's beautiful, and even though it's 3-D, it still looks like Bird's style. I really trust this guy, and him working with Pixar, well, it's quite a combination.

This trailer was great and makes me look forward to seeing the movie - November 5th can't come soon enough! :anime:

I found some information on the music used in the trailer, on AdTunes.com (http://adtunes.com/):

Pixar Animation Studios follows the success of Finding Nemo with their next animated feature for Disney, called THE INCREDIBLES. In the film, the world's greatest superhero, "Mr. Incredible", is called out of retirement for a top-secret assignment. In The Incredibles trailer, a remix of a familar James Bond soundtrack can be heard. The song is "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" by the Propellerheads, off their album Decksanddrumsandrockandroll. (The Propellerheads album has more than a few Bond spy film references, including a duet with famed Goldfinger singer Shirley Bassey, on the song "History Repeating".)

The Incredibles should also be aware that The Polar Express is their only competition. No, Shark Take is coming out the same day.
