I know that it may be taboo to vote for it on this message board, but I've gotta go with the 60's Batman. Was it campy? Yes. Was it often silly? Yes. Was the acting WAY over the top? Yes. Did it set back the general public's view of comic book related material in general (and Batman specifically) by a at least a generation? Yes. But I've gotta admit, it was very well done. It was meant to be campy. It was supposed to be over the top. It set out to entertain kids on one level and adults on a completely different level. When Disney films do that nowadays, they are applauded for pulling off such a diffucult task. The show WAS what it set out to be.
The 60's Batman was a parody, a spoof. The only problem was that anyone who did NOT read comics, would never know that. The impression was that ALL comic book related material must be that way.
But the show itself was very well done. I loved it when I was a kid. I had no idea how silly it was. And now as an adult, I can laugh my ass off watching it. The casting was superb and the art direction was more innovative than almost anything on the air at that time or since. Just my thoughts, though.
And even though I'm not voting for them, don't forget the live action Shazam! program on Sat. morning in the 70's and the USA Cable live action Swamp Thing from the late 80's. There's also the two "Challenge of the Super-Heroes" tv specials that aired on NBC in the late 70's. Wow were those awful.

The Flash was the only DC show that was any good, I thought. Sure, it had some bumps, but it was only the first season, and it was axed before it became REALLY good (and it had the potential to be). It's also one of the only shows to have enough of a production budget to have the show work. Unfortunately, that's also one of the reasons it was killed...

the flash was great, but my heart belongs to the spoofed batman of the 60's.

I had no idea that there was a live-action Aquaman pilot. Does anyone know anything more about it?

Wow. I knew absolutely nothing about this. It must have really been poor to have such a low knowledge of it.

Out of all of them, I think that the Flash was the most tolerable (man, between campy Batman, overwrought Clark Kent, and unaired bad pilots; DC really has a bad track record).

Cute topic though the answer is kinda obvious
Lois and Clark!!!!
Not only did this show make Kal-El a super-man it delved more into his and Lois' relationship than any other incarnation, which pretty much all only used her as nothing more than an intelligently-clueless damsel in distress. That and Dean Kain rocked!!!! I loved the evolution of Luthor, though I missed the episodes where he returned from the dead...bald, made Lois dress up like Marilyn Monroe then die again in a buliding collapse that left Lois with amnesia. I just heard about it..really! I did see, though, the three-part son of Lex luthor storyline which rocked, but not nearly as much as the four part, two season spanning "Return to Krypton/Lord Knore/Kal-El of the house of El" storyline!!!!!!!!! Tell me you guys saw it! It was amazing. Well at least you guys can watch it on TNT. I can't:mad: :(
In any case, since I wasn't much exposed to the other shows, I can't saw I loved any other than L+C, though Lynda Carter does looked quite fetching as Wondie in the few pictures and clips I have seen. I actually caught part of an episode once on vacation where the Us military invaded Paradise Island. They kept saying how the Amazons powers were derived from their...get this...
Femenim Bracelets!!!!!!!!
I died!!!:D :D :D :D They just kept saying it over and over! It sounded like a Tampex commercial!!! Anyone remember that????
(*If I could show the face that glances from side to side, I would have placed one here*)

Okay, I'd have to say Superboy (The seasons with Gerard Christopher), Lois And Clark, and The Flash. Smallville is too new, I have only seen two episodes, because that's all that has been played, so far it pretty neat. I wished that Lois and Clark lasted a little longer...the finale was very dissapointing. They shoulda brought in John Wesley Shipp as the Flash on an episode, as well as Michael Keaton as Batman on another episode. That would've been cool. As for The Flash, there was just totally cool stories involved...there was even an episode (The Deadly Nightshade) that mentioned Gorrilla Grodd, but it never showed him. It was an ausome show with great acting. The "Fast Forward" episode was probably my favorite, when he gets sucked ten years into the future to the year...guess what: 2001! That's right...back then, the year 2001 seemed far off, since the year was 1991. That episode reminded me of the Armaggeddon 2001 comic books. (Which also came out in 1991!) That show was so cooool!! Superboy also had cool storylines...like the episode: "Know Thine Enemy," in which Superboy takes a trip threw Lex Luthor's mind, and then he starts to think that he is Lex...ausome writing!! The first season of Superboy however, was kind of rediculous...but oh well. As for Lois and Clark, that was cool simply because of it's humor and unique style...it wasn't constantly focusing on Superman vs. the bad guy, but mostly on his and Lois's relationship. Although it was kind of too mushy at times. Luthor was a cool character on the show...and he didn't lose his hair until a long time later. There was even references to Batman a few times...though he was never shown in the show...it just shown his batmobile. Anyway, those are my favorite DC Live action shows!

The Flash is my first pic. Followed by the 60's Batman, then Lois and Clark. And as for the Justice League pilot, I can't believe they were going to put that in primetime.

I can't believe there's no Wonder Woman or Shazam! listed. Not that I'd vote for either, but still...

wonder woman is listed. shazam completely slipped my mind. anyone who is smoking crack can vote for shazam in the last "other" option.
the 3rd season of Superboy really rocked. I liked the episodes when Luthor cloned that Lana-Bizarro thing.

My mistake, I totally passed over the WW category. And honestly, I've only seen Shazam! once, so it's not like I've got an emotional attachment to it. The eppy I saw was the one guest starring the red head kid from the Partridge Family, featuring the dog that almost died in a school fire!!! Pretty intense stuff for a hero of Marvel's capabilities...
