Needless to say some things are better left untouched. Thunderbirds, the puppet marionette show about rescue heros is making its way to a live-action movie. Pardon me for sounding cynical, but why live action? The whole series did so well BECAUSE of the puppets. Worse yet, no sign of Lady Penelope!

While the movie looks ridiculous. Have no fear Lady Penelope, her driver and her big pink car are in the movie. Look around and you can find a picture of the car.

But seriously, the show did so well because it would have been down right laughable to attempt that level of cool back than, the marionettes allowed them to do things SFX were simply not capable of back than. I`ll be looking forward to this film whole heartedly.

It looks like a lotta fun and as silly as it looks, I`m up for manny more afterwards. :anime:

The trailer killed the movie for me. When did Allan Tracy become such a dork?

I saw the trailer on E the other day and.....well I'll say I won't be seeing it and leave it at that. I can't believe a serious actor like Ben Kingsley is in it though.....

First live action Transformers and now live action Thunderbirds. Is there nothing left sacred?

BTW, what's the latest with that live action Transformers movie?

I am very disappointed in this, mainly because they're making it a kid's movie. I think a lot of people expected it to be an action adventure that would be taken serious. But alas, it is not. I got the same feeling from Lost in Space as I did this.
