This week's episode with the top show in its hour among men 18-34 (4.3/12) and placed second with women 18-34 (3.9/10). The premiere showing set record numbers for TheWB network. Over the two-week run the show is averaging an amazing 7.8 million viewers, making it one of the highest rated TheWB shows ever.

Smallville finished No. 1 in its time period in men 18-34 (4.3 rating/12 share), No. 2 in adults 18-34 (4.1/11), No. 2 in women 18-34 (3.9/10), No. 1 in persons 12-34 (4.2/12), No. 2 in women 12-34 (4.2/12, up from its premiere), No. 1 for the night in men 12-34 (4.1/13), No. 3 in its time period in men 18-49 (3.2/9), No. 1 in teens (4.5/15), No. 1 in female teens (5.2/17) and No. 1 in male teens (3.8/14).

The ratings for Smallville in men 18-34 (4.3/12) and men 18-49 (3.2/9) were the second best in network history, trailing only its premiere last week. Smallville's score in adults 18-34 (4.1/11) and adults 18-49 (3.4/9) both placed in the top 10 in The WB's history. Smallville now joins the ranks of 7th Heaven and Charmed, which are other top TheWB shows.

With that note, the network has picked up the show for a full 22 episdoes order.
