I think it's high time I saw Roots, doggone it. Roots is the most watched miniseries in TV history- I feel obligated to see it.

I saw a little bit of Frank Herbert's Dune, and it was pretty good.

the only miniseries that I've really paid any attention to were Dune & Children of Dune, both Sci-Fi Channel miniseries... and I didn't even pay attention to them until they were available to own on DVD... however, I have watched them both several times, so you could classify them as my favorite miniseries.

I think my favorite mini-series was the Jazz documentary they showed a year or so ago, that was really cool. But as for 'regular' mini-series'... I can't think of one that stands out above the rest, they're all so bad usually. I guess the first Dune was pretty good. Haven't watched the second yet.

This is a question. Was Robocop: Prime Directives any good?

The BEST Mini-series ever made was "LONESOME DOVE" with Robert Duvall, Tommy Lee Jones, and Diane Lane.

Mine would also be the Dune mini-series on the SciFi Channel. SciFi is supposedly making one more Dune mini-series that covers the last two books of Herbert's.

It was... okay. I was disappointed in it.. they still seemed to have that TV movie/Toy tie in feel to them.. they were just... silly really. I always felt Robocop worked best by keeping it is as down to earth as possible and then adding one or two sci fi elements.. This mini series - while better than the TV series - was let down by a hammy script, some silly scifi, and some dodgy acting.

For me, V - The Mini Series (not to be confused with the later TV series) was a fantastic show. I love, own and cuddle my DVDs of that show!

Yeah, that was a cool show. Freaked me out as a kid. I don't know why Hollywood hasn't remade it as a film yet. Oh wait, forgot about Independence Day.

That's the easy question ever and there is only one answer for it!

TAKEN(Scifi Channel). I loved that series. I loved how they went from one time to another. The ending was so sweet.

Oh! Shoot! I can't believe I forgot about Storm of the Century. The first time I saw it which was a while ago I got pretty freaked out so I guess that'd be my second fav.
