It got better around the end where they had the conflict with the monk covered in talismans (dealing with Sanzo's background a bit), and the fight with Goku. If you enjoyed the seriousness and plot development, keep with it, it continues to get really good. ^_^ (based on the anime, I mean. I have up to vol.9)

cardcaptor sakura boxset #2 - soo cute, you can't comprehend it with 1000 percent of your brain. ;) I should probably read through it this week, so that I can the then to my girlfriend Zoe, who has been borrowing my CCS dvds and who will be finishing them this week.

dvd:

nadia boxset #1 - 5 DVDs and 2 OSTs only 50 bucks. Seemed like an obvious buy to me. I find it whack that the OSTs are in paper envelopes put in the case rather than given their own spots in the brick. ADV should thin-packed it.

I got two anime soundtracks, a DVD, and a manga.

I got a copy of Mahou Tsukai Tai TV OST, Michiru and One Hundred Billions of Love and Sound of Magic, about three weeks ago on eBay, and it arrived last week. I really like the music that was used in the OVA and TV series, and the music is very enjoyable to listen to on its own. The only disappointment was that this CD does not include the version of the OVA ending theme ("Mata Ashita") that was used in Episode 6, "Takakura, Origami, and the Secret Date".

That episode was the one about Sae's dreams. She is not sure which experiences are real or are dreams, and she has a dream in which Takakura visits her, and they perform magic together - and the dreams turns out to be real! This is my favourite episode of the TV episodes.

Also, I found a copy of the Earth Girl Arjuna soundtrack at the comics shop. Arjuna: Into The Another World was done by Yoko Kanno, and is very interesting to listen to. Some of the tracks are tribal-sounding, while others are hard rock.

This past Wednesday, I got Fruits Baskets, Vol. 4 - Clearing Sky. Now all I need to do is to find Volume 3, and I've completed the series! :) I've heard the manga is good, so I may have to give that a look.

Speaking of manga, I got Wedding Peach, Vol. 6. I'm going to post more about it in the talkback (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=105376). However, I will say this: the interview with Nao Yazawa is really interesting, and there's a little surprise - which I won't spoil! :anime:

Puni Puni Poemy (This has got to be the most disturbing I ever saw. And what I find strange is that I haven't lost my sanity. But it was a really great comedy to me though.)

got YGO Season 2 vols 5 and 6 few days ago.

I like FUNi. using the entire disc. Yeah right on. 5 eps per disc. We don't need all those extras (the Virtual World Intro Intro and the duelist kingdom/battle city character look)

Actually, no, I didn't download them. Here in Malaysia we tend to get our anime a bit faster than the rest of the world - And yes, I'm aware that the JP DVDs for 4th Stage haven't come out yet. :p

As for Gunslinger Girls, it's 4 episodes on two VCDs - VCDs are something like a CD version of DVDs that can hold 1 hour of video.

I have a feeling that they're probably bottlegs from Taiwan, but there's these stickers from the Malasyain Ministry of Trade & Consumer Affairs and the Censor Board stating that these VCDs are Legit in Malaysia....so I'm not too sure about their legitamacy. *shrug*

And my dad won't let me use his DVD player. >_<

I'd say it was pretty good. I thought the anime was pretty awesome. I got really into it and saw the whole series in less than a week. Maybe a B or B+
