Power Rangers DinoThunder "White Thunder" Part 3

So what did you think of today's DT ep? I am mad, really mad. First off, they totally raped the great battle scenes between Red and White. I know this isn't AbaRanger, but the battle on the beach felt like an epic battle in Aba, and this just totally killed it. They took out the scene where they had the guns at each others chest. The scenes kept jumping around between PR and Aba footage, and a lot did not splice well together. I am happy they used the DinoGuts stuff, hopefully we will see more of that. I do like how White told Mesogog to take his idea and shove it. Also, I think it was cool that they didn't have him become a good guy yes, for the moment anyway. But man, why did it have to end on a cliff hanger?

I give it a 3/5 though, for WR coolness though.

i thought it was pretty good. wish the Tommy/White Ranger battle had been a bit longer, but oh well. i hope the WR stays evil for a good while. it would be a nice change of pace to have a Ranger be completely evil for an extended period of time.

Looks like Mr. Sloan decided to go the Abaranger route, and have Whitey stay on the evil side for at least a few more episodes. It'll be interesting to see where this goes.

Other than that, another missed episode, but that's why I love ABC during this time of the year.

Well, this was a great episode again. I enjoyed Trent. Also, Devin getting the White Ranger on tape was cool. Hopefully something actually becomes of it.

The Dino Stegazord was awesome. I loved the formation sequence and the fight against the Thundersaurus Megazord was great. The fight between the Red Ranger and the White Ranger was pretty cool, but I was hoping it was more of a team effort. It was cool to see Tommy using the other Dinozords, as they don't get used that often.

The Dino Power was pretty cool. It's cool that they've held it off and hopefully they'll be able to do more with it. Mesogog and the White Ranger interaction was great.

I also enjoyed the battle between Tommy and Trent, although it was obviously too short. Tommy finds out Trent's secret, but now he is fossilzed. I didn't see that coming. It had better not be for long.

I didn't expect the episode to end on a cliffhanger note. I was surprised that it didn't end with To be continued. Probably had something to do with people complaining last year about too many multi-parters.

In any case, next week it looks like the introduction of the Ankylosaurus Dinozord. It should be exciting.

Just finished watching it on my Tivo and wow this show has great action and very cool for the vrew to leave the White Ranger evil and not turn good spreads the arc out more. Mezogog conversation with the him as well was done in a good manner, a very big improvment over last year's PR series.

[Burgundy Ranger]

The "guns at each others' chest" is exactly why it didn't make it into PRDT. PR, regardless of who's been in charge, has shyed away from such graphic images in its shows.

But I thought Part III was better than II but not quite as good as I.

I think we're going to see WR stay evil (but who knows what'll happen with Trent) for at least two more episodes and then something will give in ep 16 -- which is reported to be titled "Burning from Both Ends." To me, that's clearly an episode about how WR/Trent deals with his fights with both the PRs and Mesogog.
