Another nice one. I love the softness you bring to such hideous scenes with your work, such as this. Beautiful and deadly - fits the character's persona perfectly. :)
You gotta teach us how to colour with pencils so well - just how many different shades do you have? Or do you do a LOT of colour mixing to achieve those particular colours?

Alex your drawing is simply breath taking. So simple, sombre and yet beautiful. I love your style and you have lots of talent in what you do.
Keep it up =D

Beautiful. Elequent, wonderful use of traditional visual style and totally refreshing. Love it.

Very reminiscent to Art Nouveau style of illustration... clean and elegant looking. the colors are excellent choice and the rendering is solid.
Great work! :)

It's rather a mix of both, actually. I do have many shades, and I blend everything a lot. Poison Iv's skin, for example was a result of blending, light peach, jade green, clay rose, metallic silver, cool grey 90%, and white. For the background, I blacked out everything in India ink, and coloured over that. The brand of pencils I use are really quite lovely, they're Berol Prismacolors. They have a very thick and heavy lead, which covers beautifully, and blend like a dream. I seriously doubt that I could achieve the same effect with another brand. They are reasonably priced, and can be found at your local Aaron Brother's store. (Could I sound any more like an advertisement? Seriously though, these are great pencils, and well worth your money)
I'm bowled over by your work again Alex, the soft muted colour of the background against her pale skin works beautifully. There's a wonderful touch of faery / pagan / goddess :) to the whole thing too (especially with the poor guy on the ground there)
