SmackDown! is well underway as of now. And I haven't seen the talkback posted, so I thought I'll do it this week.

TORRIE WILSON VS. RENE DUPREE

April 29, 2004

SmackDown! comes to you this week from Oklahoma City where, on the heels of their spat on Café de Rene last week that included a dousing of Torrie Wilson with wine, the 2004 Diva cover girl will face Rene Dupree one on one. While this appears on paper to be a mismatch, last week Dupree brought out a fire from Torrie Wilson after several insulting remarks during Dupree’s inaugural show. Can Torrie actually score the upset? Find out on SmackDown!

Speaking of upsets, last week the unlikely duo of Rico & Charlie Haas upset Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. Who will be the first to attempt to dethrone the reigning champions? SmackDown! may have the answer.

Kurt Angle was not at SmackDown! last week as he continued to recover from serious injuries as a result of his fall from a 25-foot ledge. Last week, former SmackDown! General Manager Paul Heyman was called to steer the ship during Angle's absence. Will Angle return this week or will somebody else be called to duty to run the show? Find out on SmackDown!

All of this and more on SmackDown! at 8/7 PM CT on UPN.

Sorry about that. I had an RA awards banquet to be at and I was running around all day before that. I have a tape, but did any of you even watch the show?
Yep, but there was really nothing to comment on. The only thing I'm wondering about is who Chavo's opponent is going to be. I hope it's not some way to bring Jeff Hardy back.

Could be anybody. even a trade from RAW.
No Bradshaw darn it. I know about Velocity, but man does he have a good gimmick.
Cena had no rap, but was on Velocity.
Angle's promo was comedy, not emotional or anything. Especially the end.
Smackdown stunk this week.

I liked Smackdown, and thought it was much better than last week's show. Some things I liked:

-The Angle promo was okay. Luthor reminded me of Rick Steiner. >_>
-The tag match with Rico/Haas and Bashams was great. Rico and Haas look like they've finally found something that'll get them over, and that's great. Miss. Jackie looked really hot, too.
-The Undertaker's appearance and Booker T clockin' him with the urn: good stuff. Taker's probably the best thing on the show, with Booker T in a close second, so putting them together makes me very happy. :D
-Mordecai: Whoa. Looks like they're preppin' to have him debut at Judgement Day, and if that's the case, then he's definitely gonna fued with The Undertaker. That, of course, translates to more Taker TV time, and more Taker TV time is good TV time. Yes sirrie, Bob.
-Chavo vs. The World = Jeff Hardy? That would be cool, although I think he should be on RAW with Matt and Lita.
