Preliminary ratings for last night show that Smallville kept a big chunk of it's pilot audience, averaging around 7.5 million viewers. The final numbers wil be calculated later tonite. Smallville delivered strong numbers at 9 p.m. with a 5.9/9 average ( last week's numbers were 6.7/10). Smallville helped the network pull ahead of FOX and UPN to bring TheWB to 4th place for the night.
