Toonami ran overtime, so we lost one cartoon last night.
"Northwest Hounded Police" (MGM, Droopy)
"Robin Hoodwinked" (Popeye)
"The Draft Horse"
"The Fishing Bear" (MGM, Barney Bear)
"For Better or Nurse" (Popeye)

It's about the horse who wants to join the army, but you can still be nutz if you want.

--but note, with the political climate, the number of war-era shorts airing on Acme Hour. Tuesday we saw Chuck Jones' "Draft Horse", and last night Ising's "Rookie Bear" (one of Barney's better, IMO).
Incidentally, was "Horse" edited? Looked like an odd fade right after the bit with the currry-comb. "Yes, I did tell you to say 'ah'. But I didn't tell you to say AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...."
Note also that for the last week or so the first short is a Droopy, followed by a Popeye, and a second Popeye to cap it off. Very interesting....

No, there's no edit. It's one of those dubbed versions that have a fade out quicker than the orginal.

Yeah, those 'dubbed' prints are very annoying, what with those premature fade-outs. I guess I can assume that I'm not the only one this bothers.

Yeah, I noticed that in some of the dubbed versions, too. What really annoys me is that at the end of the dubbed version of FALLING HARE, the scene fades out too early before the iris out even happens.

Yeah, I have noticed that too. The format these past couple weeks has most often been: Droopy, Popeye, WB (usually a one-shot), Barney Bear, MGM one-shot (usually Tex Avery), and another Popeye.
