I thought this one was great, but being a rabid fan, there are few episodes I don't like. The only ones I haven't liked were ones with Gran and now Gran is dead, so it should be smooth sailing.

The opener (which showed a real-life business--they have them in Stars Hollow after all) was terrific. I think Kirk works everywhere, LOL.
After months without seeing Laine, we got the best Laine subplot in a long time, and one of her best scenes ever when she quietly visits her mega-rod-up-rear mother...impossible to love, she even "replaced" Laine, but she still misses her. *sniff*
Also, one of the better Friday Dinners, although it might be one of the last. For a real twist, NOTHING HAPPENED! It must have been a boring concept on paper, but after seeing every single one end in arguments and/or chaos, having Richard and Emily act extremely out of character(read: nice and friendly the entire time, with no pushiness) was hilarious. And of course they were faking, and it turned out Emily wasn't even staying there anymore and was just driving there on Fridays for the sole purpose of trying to fool Lorelai. Ha, as if anyone can fool Lorelai. But the "separation" wasn't that shocking...they'd been building a taller wall of hate the entire season.
AND, our first real glimpse of the Dragonfly! Nice logo....Lori did well considering she had so much going on.

Lorelai Quote of the Week:
Luke: "All I do is send this in and I'm officially no longer married."
Lori: "You're getting a Mail-Order Divorce?"
