You know the bar that sits at the bottom of Internet Explorer that tells a person if a website is loading or the address to a link your pointing to? Well, it's missing. I am running Windows XP. How do I get it back?

I think I know which one you mean, try clicking View>Status Bar.

I'm guessing you're talking about the status bar. Just click on "View" and then click on "status bar" and it should appear. :)

I also have a question about Internet Explorer. When you go into a Japanese site or another foreign site and it says you need to download a Japanese Text Display or something like that. WHere are you supposed to download it from?

Yup that's viewing the status bar.

You don't have to worry about going anywhere. Just click "Yes" or "OK" and it'll download automatically.

Have you looked under your desk? I lose things under there all the time.

(my desk, not yours)

Click Yes it should then start installing... But it might prompt you to insert the Windows XP Install disk.

That's my 2 cents.
