My word... Pokemon AND Yu-Gi-Oh! on weekday mornings and weekday nights? Well I know two posters who will like this news...
Miguzi doesn't change and DBGT is still in prime time? Gah!?!?!?
Cramp Twins... man I was really hoping that wasn't going to happen.
Jack is gone... that's an awful shame.
CAMP CARTOON?!?!? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
The 2-6 block is from 6-9? That was unexpected... Rescue Heroes? Well I guess that's not too bad.

I don't quite understand this at all. CN has all these shows and yet they show the same damn shows over and over again, sorry but KND and Edd,Ed and Eddy seems to be in the schedule practically everywhere, same with Billly and Mandy. And lmao @ the 5am-6am schedule, why not put those Cartoon Cartoons there cuz there's honestly no point in going beyond themselves to put Captain Planet and Gi Joe on at a time that no one watches(if i'm wrong then please correct me). This schedule just confuses the heck out of me and I really do not understand it at all. So please explain it to me Matt.
No...Energon...
*kills himself*
Were the ratings really that bad?
James Bester
04-26-2004, 11:08 PM
this is a great schedule. The only problem is that miguzi will showing the same shows the ENTIRE summer. Oh, how fun. NOT!

Indeed... Teen Titans and Code Lyoko will get old in a hurry and the Spies don't need to airings still (though that's debatable given it's one of the only girl oriented shows on CN).
I'm surprise Miguzi didn't add SD Gundam yet. They've gotta prep for new episodes by fall no doubt. The ratings were too kid to pass up the rest of the series.
Armada replaces Energon? Bah! Does CN not have any more or something?
CookieS
04-27-2004, 02:01 AM
I don't think they ever will add SD Gundam to Miguzi. Dragonball and Gundam are two franchises closely related to Toonami, and I don't think they'd ever want to overlap like that.
William C. Maune
04-27-2004, 02:04 AM
I've been thinking about it recently, I can't decide where I think it will go, for that reason. The problem with putting it on Toonami is that I don't know if they want two Gundam series on the same block. If they are ok with that, I could see SD Gundam possibly working in the first hour of Toonami.
Andrew T. Hingson
04-27-2004, 02:19 AM
No...
NO...
HECK NO
I never want to see that show on Toonami ever again. It failed as a comedic anime and it failed as an aciton anime. It's not a bad show per say but doesn't belong on Teenami. Duel Masters does everything it should have done, and better.
I think it would be awesome if by fall CN is airing 3 Gundam series on different blocks. SD on Miguzi, SEED on Toonami, and Zeta on Adult Swim. That would ROCK!!!
Who are those 2 posters?
One would be me.
I must say, the last 1/3 of the Orange Islands isn't all that bad, except for that stupid Diglett episode. And the first dozen or so episodes of Johto aren't all that terrible.
Oh, Yu-Gi-Oh! finally gets away from Duelist Kingdom. Uh...yay?

Pokemon Johto!!!! Alright! Good to see it back on the schedule!!! And, in primetime! Awesome!
New Duck Dodgers!!! Alright!
New Powerpuff Girls! Cool!
Cramp Twins? Meh.
Rescue Heroes? Hmm...I remember that cartoon being mildly enjoyable...
Looney Tunes on Sunday too! Cool!
CN in June rocks the proverbial house!!!

So then the last "new" episode of TMNT will air on May 28th? Or will there be some new episodes in June as well. They have at least the first fourty, maybe even the first 52 by now.

if CN has TMNT thru ep. 40, that means they only have up to "City At War" part 1. I'm hoping it's like 39. How many months would it take for CN to acquire the rest of Season Two
i'm only speaking for myself but the sched for may and june do nothing for me: Justice League re-reuns, Titans re-runs, TMNT on Miguzi (i don't like the miguzi presentation), no Samurai Jack, no He-Man, no X-Men: Evolution...and I haven't checked the AS sched yet but if there's no Big O, then the summer's a total bust.
at the very least i'll have duck dodgers.
hopefully Adult Swim will have new eps of ATHF and/or SGC2C (or is the Ghost dead too?)

I recall the press release stated they have 40. However... CN's episode guide has all of seasons 1 and 2, unlike last season there may not be a break mid season to hold off until fall on the new episodes for the Fox Box (they've only got 5 left afterall... but they may still put a cliff hanger on the final mini-arc season finale), and currently Miguzi is only airing up to the end of Turtles in Space (all in one week... I smell an event) and they are skipping The King. Somethings up... Hopefully it means we'll get both season this year on CN rather than having to wait until next year to get the other half of season 2 and part of season 3. But I guess only time will tell. I'm just suprised they are ending it 5 episodes into season one. One more week and it could have ended with the clip show episode "Reflections" and all the Utrom story would be tied up.

4Kids press release said that CN had aquired all 52 episodes of TMNT, and they they would air the reruns, but that Fox Box would be the place for new episodes (because it's been renewed for seasons 3 & 4 for a total of 104 episodes so far).
As for the schedule:
Poke'Mon with new episodes finally- GOOD THING FOR POKE'MON fans, and it means that Jhoto on Kids WB might be done.
Yu-Gi-Oh! season 2 (Battle City Duels) & the rest of season 1 are finally coming to CN. Ratings boost do occur folks.
Rescue Heroes could eventually take out Captain Planet as the educational requirement.
Duck Dodgers season 2 is underway, hip hip horray.
If you visit CN.com, they just classify the early morning spot as TRANSFORMERS, meaning they will be rotating through Armada and Energon. They've announced Energon for Toonami, but it looks like it will be this fall before they get to it, and they really can't just cycle through 10 episodes in the early morning slot. Let it join up with ARMADA and have 62 episodes, plus more new ones when they get them. Eventually when Energon ends it will be 104 episodes, or 5 months plus of Transformers programming to cycle through in the early morning slot.
According to TV Tome, the Teen Titans final 4 episodes of season 2 which were moved back from May are going to air in June or July with Justice League: Starcrossed and the premeire of Justice League: Unlimited, but that's just a rumor for now. It'll be great if it does happen though.
Other new premeires don't shock e, but I'm glad to see Megas XLR will be on Sunday's as well as Toonami. Where is Samurai Jack and the final episodes when you need them though?
The one things they should have added on to this schedule though is CN premeires of JCA season 3 and the final season of X-Men Evolution, but all good things will come over time.

This says 40 and it's the most recent. I don't know where there's a press release that says otherwise. If there is, please provide a link.
I'm stoke that TMNT has already been renewed for another 2 seasons. They keep this up and I'll be watching this show until I'm out of college!

COMING UP:
July - Imaginary Friends 90 minute movie premiere
September - Imaginary Friends premiere
Why does every new CN show (Megas, Imaginary Friends, et. al.) have to have a 60+ minute premiere episode? Are they hoping that lightning will strike twice? (Think Jack, people...)

Well, I'm still on-line, and I still post on here and on the Serebii forums quite often. It's just that I haven't been able to post in any of the Talkback/C&C threads here due to me not being in the country where all these shows are airing. I haven't gotten to see the new Toonami, or the newly-revamped Adult Swim, or Miguzi, or any of that good stuff.
Back on topic, does anyone have any idea as to why it took so long for CN to air these Pokemon episodes? I remember the network announcing them during the 2003 initiative, yet nothing ever came out of it until now. Just what WAS the delay with these episodes, anyway?

Well, I'm glad CN picked up Rescue Heroes.:) It might not have been much of a show, but I kinda liked it. I still must pick up the movie on DVD. If anyone's seen the movie, how is it?
Duck Dodgers, Season 2--I will check it out, although I'll mainly watch them once. IMO, it's mainly for kids.
It'll be nice to see Yu-gi-oh's 3-part Legendary Heroes ep again. I loved the way Mai hugged Joey.;)

As long as Poke'Mon continues to get high ratings, then it will be on CN whether you like it or not. I say CN will eventually air all the episodes just like Kids WB! is going to. As for Yu-Gi-Oh!, all I can say is it's about time. They're well into Battle City now on Kids WB! (the semi-finals to be exact), so CN should have started airing new episodes 6 months ago in my opinion.

Now that Toonami is "fixed" a bit, June is looking to be a great month!
Case Closed, Inuyasha, Wolf's Rain on Adult Swim
A brand new schedule all the way on Toonami (including new JCA and new Astroboy)
And "new" to CN episodes of Pokemon and YGO to watch on weekdays
The only thing that I'd do to improve this schedule now would be to have Kenshin on weeknights before Adult Swim (possibly DBZ Season 4 before that to make an hour block) and have more TMNT premieres.
I'm thinking SD Gundam will show up somewhere on CN in July or August with season 2 in September but we'll see...
Rurouni Kenshin

That would be great, but unlikely. I just wish CN would give season 2 one more complete run before getting rid of the show, that way they would not have to put up with the complaining fans. Just show Kenshin one more time and then let it rest in peace, that's not too much to ask, JCA has add many runs, many many runs.

Kenshin's license most likely runs out in Spring of 2005. So if they were to stick it on Saturdays only they'd only be able to get one season out of it at this point. So weekdays is where it needs to go. 3 months + to air every episode, and boy would that make the fans happy. Then maybe they could air the final season a second time for good measure.

So...
a) They can find a slot for the friggin' "Cramp Twins" but not for "Sheep in the Big City".
b) There are still more time slots per week for "Baby Looney Tunes" than there are for honest-to-goodness "Looney Tunes".
Riddle me this...what kind of lobotomized chimpanzees are running the network now?

That schedule is wrong. And ADLINK is almost always correct.
I'm surprised they haven't put DBZ on the schedule anywhere, being the ratings-grabber it is.

There are minor changes, but nothing serious that I really needed to go back into it. Reruns are reruns. What's mostly important are lesser aired shows and premieres.. not how many times you can catch Ed Edd n Eddy every day.

FYI, I merged another thread into this.
The programming after "Fridays" has always been in rotation. Sometimes its original stuff, sometimes unpopular stuff, and sometimes old stuff. They're testing to see what's working well.
Where is your source? Turner Resources has it all, if you need help. :D Personally speaking, Turner Resources is a messy, unorganized place. Do no trust their schedule, as its a site that tries to apply all of the schedules for all Turner stations and is very slow in turnaround dates. As for Adlink, take their programming with a grain of salt as well. The site changes often and is responsive but has been known to be wrong MANY MANY times (ask our news staff). The sources are only good a few days (not weeks or months) prior to airings. I discourage you all from trying to read into these small changes too soon. The schedule BryanAlford posted is bound to change, just as the one Matt Wilson posted. They'll ALWAYS change, so please do not constantly try to update them in full.
Huh? You mean there's someone who actually likes Sheep in the Big City? Of course there is. Unfortunately none of those people work in programming. Matt, chill out on this sudden outburst of Sheep recall. You have a better chance of getting Robot Jones back on the air at this point.
.hack//sign is back!! hooray!! cyborg 009 to! :) :) :) Cramp Twins is here to but stuck in the mornings? oh well I might be able to catch it :) http://members.aol.com/kimminakochan/chicken.gif Cramp Twins is a show that is great for the younger set (children 2-11) and preteens. CN is developing a strong children's focused block in the mornings to get better advertisers and be more competitive.

those two shows return maybe CN will keep their word by it premiering new episodes in June. Is one of those shows the one Matt Wilson mentioned here that we can't discuss it in the Toonami line-up thread..Intersting.

For those Jackie Chan fans that are wondering about the Talisman saga, you can catch it starting tommorow night on Toonami. Season 3 of JCA will air on Toonami.

Well they probably wont say they are new episodes but I have no doubt that we'll see that same JCA promo from April tommorow in the last break before JCA and the first Saturday Toonami promo for Astroboy will air durring JCA's last break, and then the first promo for Rave Master will air durring Astroboy's last break.
Great job CN/WS. I'm so proud of you for not giving a crap about the shows you are airing.

Excellent! I hope they air them in order (not that it matters) and they air "The Bad Guy" again.
The Cramp Twins...? Why the Cramp Twins, of all things?
Anyway, glad to see new Billy & Mandy and The Powerpuff Girls. I don't watch Miguzi much (sometimes I'll watch Teen Titans repeats and sometimes TMNT) but is sucks they aren't changing at all this summer. You know what? Even though the show is pretty lame, Miguzi should get Kirby: Right Back at Ya. I think it would fit in well.

It would, as would Sonic X but that's better left for Fall.
Heck they need something so bad they could use SD Gundam (August maybe with new episodes in September)

The Cramp Twins...? Why the Cramp Twins, of all things?
For the sole reason that it is a CN owned property.
You know, now that I've watched Energon again these past few days, I'm glad they paused for a while. The animation looks a little better, but they still have the same dub mistakes.
Brief correction for Friday. It is being discussed on the Toonami thread since it wasn't started here, but it's actually .Hack//DUSK (renamed .Hack//Legend of the Twilight here in the US) that will air along with season 2 of Cyborg 009 Friday nights/ Saturday mornings at 1 AM.
