Another Rare T&J Night!

Hey, everybody, it was another rare T&J night tonight! They showed the rare PUSH-BUTTON KITTY and THE LITTLE ORPHAN. The other cartoon was SWITCHIN' KITTEN, nothing special.

I wish we could've gotten something else, like "Sleepy Time Tom" (it's one of the two T&Js I've never seen). I hope they bring back "The Framed Cat" some time soon, since I've never seen it. Could someone give a sypnopsis of this picture? The one at the T&J cartoon guide isn't very useful.

"The Framed Cat" starts out with Tom stealing a chicken wing from the kitchen table. When Mammy hears him and heads for the kitchen, Tom hands Jerry the chicken leg and chases him in order to look good in front of Mammy. After chasing him outside, Tom takes the wing from Jerry, eats it, and curls up under a tree for a nap. The rest of the cartoon involves Jerry getting back at Tom by continuously making it look like Tom is stealing Spike's bone.

By the way, you can find "Push-Button Kitty" with Mammy's real and true voice on video - Tom & Jerry On Parade. Also, "The Little Orphan" was edited, but Mammy's 8-second appearance was kept in. While I praise CN for broadcasting the T & J cartoons with Mammy, I wish they would stop relooping her voice. I find it very distracting and too "modern". Anyone else agree?

I like the new voice, only, you are right, it sounds too modern. It just doesn't quite gel together right. The sound quality isn't different from the rest of the cartoon, but that new voice seems more like it would be suited to someone different than Mammy, I suppose.
