I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic. I noticed the people at Soup2Nuts have an Andy Kaufman-esque sense of humor when it comes to interviews and stuff (I.E. Brendon constantly interrupting a fan asking a question).

And him saying the VAs on Home Movies don't get along. I mean, I could see that, but it doesn't really seem like they don't get along.

That interview was completely hilarious. The robot voice helped with one of the driest deliveries I've ever heard--I loved the self-centered, egocentric persona. If people thought Jon was a total jerk then he did a great job. And the completely non-complicit caller was great.
