Mega Man Aniversary collection pushed back yet again

Just went to gamespot and instead of may its now coming out in June. I'm starting to think it'll never come out. :mad:

First, it was slated for January. Then it got pushed back to May 12th. Now, the current scheduled release date for the game is June 23rd.

Hopefully, that will be the final date (especially considering how my local Gamestop has begun to offer a Mega Man 2 t-shirt for those people who pre-order the game).

Holy S*it! September?! I was SO looking forward to the GBA compilation too... I hope thats just a mistake or something. If not, I might go on ebay and just buy all the games seperately, as I don't want to wait 5 months for it...

I saw the cover for the game and it looked silly. They hav Mega Man posing, but it looks like it was traced over and colored by a 11 year old. Then they have Rush with Dr. Wily in the background. I was expecting to see a bunch of Mega Man's foes standing around a better drawn Blue Bomber. And where in the Heck is Blues (Proto Man)?

I honestly don't know why they keep delaying these two collections it isn't that hard to put a compilation of games that have been out for years now together (granted they did add color to the GB Rockman games) for all these delays we better get some good special bonus features on both compilations.

I really want an X compilation of the first 3 for GBA, or a complete one for the consoles. While the X series degraded further and further after X1, they still had the same fun gameplay style, just a crappier story with a lot of plotholes [how many times does Zero die?!?!]. The remakes on the GBC weren't very good at all, and I'd like to see them exactly as they were on the GBA. MMZ is the closest we'll probably get [damn hard games!].

I think the reason they're holding it back til june is because that when the new season of Rockman EXE airs on KWB.

Cool stuff! I was hoping more companies would try that method. Nintendo should and for the love of all things good and decent Konami should!

This is why capcom has problem saleing their games. They alway change the releas date. The games are always relase the sometime another big game is release and their big game is overlook. PNO3 And VJ was supposed to be release in the summer, instead they decide to release them the same month madden anda SW game was release. I guess their are slow learners.

Yeah that's ruined PNO3's chances of success but VJ was a hot property in the fall despite that. It was constantly sold out and awaiting shipment. At least it was in Washington.
