View Full Version : What Were the Titles to These Cartoons?

I think most are Walter Lantz cartunes, but here's a list of cartoons I've seen years ago and have forgotten the titles too.

1. This is a Woody cartune, some how he gets into a space rocket and starts eating all of the food (in tubes) inside it. A little scientist tries to catch Woody, but constantly fails, and keeps saying "Well, back to the drawing board!"

2. A alligator is trying to go to sleep, but can't. He decides that he can't sleep on an empty stomach, and tries to eat Woody.

3. Donald Duck gets a conk on the head by a flower pot, and thinks he's a famous music singer, and forgets all about Daisy. Daisy tells her problem to a psychiratrist, but she hates his advice and decides to conk Donald on the head during his big performance to bring him back to normal.

4. The only thing I can remember about this one (I think it's a Swing Symphony), but a mouse gets drunk and starts fooling around with different objects to different music tunes.

Thanks to whoever can help out with this.

Hey Thad,

I'll try these out:

1. I think this is called "Woodpecker On The Moon". The professor has a shlock German accent, I think his name is "Dingledorf", and at the end, he gets shot to the moon, surrounded by green moon men.... sound familiar?

2. I think this one is called "Rock-A-Bye Gator".

3. ?

4. "Jukebox Jambouree" (wasn't this on the tape I just sent you...?)

1. Thad the first one is called "Astronut Woody" - it has Woody eating food that comes from prepackaged tubes at the beginning and ending. At the end he blows the little guy's house up to smithereens, and pours a two-course meal and a dining companion out of the tubes.

2. "Rock-a-Bye gator" verified (I watched it when I got home from work) :) . Woody keeps saying the word "Food" (or something that rhymes with it) to wake Gabby up, and keeps playing "Rock-a-bye baby" on some type of instrument to put him back to sleep. At the end he drums up some noise to keep gabby awake.

No, you didn't give me JUKE BOX JAMBOREE. I'd sure like to see it again though. I was pretty #4 sure it was this one, but I just wanted to make sure with the experts. Thanks guys. :)

A clip from this is in the movie Firestarter (which was released by Universal).
