Yes, it's the latest edition of my semi-bi-whenever I think of it series which you might remember from the old boards. Bullwinkle fans will of course remember the canoe race sequence from the Jet Fuel Formula series. I remember a very similar sequence in a Woody toon --- Woody & the bad guy in rowboats, the bad guy yelling "Stroke! Stroke! Stroke!", Woody yelling "Bail! Bail! Bail!" ---but that's all I remember about that toon. Of what toon am I thinking? And something else about which I was wondering. The fact that these two are so similar has me wondering if anyone @ Jay Ward had worked @ Walter Lantz; I'm probably missing someone 'cause I get the feeling there's someone worked on both about whom I should know. As always, thanks in advance for any help.

Season 1, Episode 8
The stroke, stroke, stroke, bail, bail, bail episode is a Rocky and Bullwinkle episode. It is GREAT.
Here is episode summary -
Rocky and Bullwinkle have lost the mooseberry bush in a smokescreen. Boris and Natasha paddle away in a canoe, while Rocky and Bullwinkle turn their wrecked airplane into a canoe and are in hot pursuit. Rocky, Bullwinkle, Boris, and Natasha inevitably start the longest canoe race from Frostbite Falls to Washington D.C. going through any possible water places. When nightfalls, Boris changes a sign that said WARNING: Straight Ahead Only, No Left Turn, Dangerous Sawmill, to WARNING: Left Turn Only, Dangerous Sawmill Straight Ahead. Rocky and Bullwinkle take the sign seriously.
