This is sort of an answer to the "What song can make you burst into tears" thread. This is where you can tell what songs make you happy.
For me:
"Lean On Me"-Bill Withers
"You've Got a Friend"-James Taylor
"Three Little Birds"-Bob Marley and the Wailers
"It's Alright"-the Impressions

ahhh..good topic..
I'd say..for one, Gorillaz "19-2000". It got this eerie tune, but its still great. And I love the music video for it. It just brightens my day.
Also..I hate to say it..but...Weird Al music. You have to admit...Weird Al brightens up a bad day!
And...hmm..how about...ANYTHING Beastie Boys..I love those guys! "Fight, for your right...to PAAAAAAAAAAAAAARTY!"
Oh..and EVERYTHING Dave Mathews Band...man, do I love Dave Mathews...

Oh come now, what's wrong with Weird Al?? :D Almost all of his songs make me feel great, even "I Lost on Jeopardy" and "You Don't Love Me Anymore."
I also happily crank up the radio and sing along to Smashmouth's version of "I'm a Believer."

*I'll concur on Weird Al. Particularly "Lasagna", which I love to eat Italian food to.
*"Werewolves of London". Absurd novelty song by some British group, I believe...and very appropriate for Halloween. I have it on tape, but I still might give Jonesboro a thrill and call in a request for it to KISS-FM....
*"You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon, another absurd song he did post-Garfunkel, I think.
*"The Humpty Dance" by Humpty Hump. I actually have a T-shirt with the big-nosed rapper on it I bought about ten years ago. It's one of those rubber steam-press-on deals and is currently peeling something awful, so I can't wear it. :(
*"16 Little Red Noses and a Horse that Sweats" by Jim Stafford. Yes, there really is a song by that title. Actually anything by Stafford gets me--he's sort of the prototypical Ray Stevens or Weird Al.
*Ray Stevens, come to think of it,--esp. "Ahab the Arab" and "The Streak". I get a hoot out of the redneck who says, "Heeeeee-yeaaaaaah, I did." Also a little-known song of his called "Butch Barbarian", particularly the bit with the titular character's girlfriend, Heidi Foulkes (say it with a Southern accent and you'll see the joke).

Ooooh :) Nice subject!
I'm such a sap, Kenny Chesney's song, "You Had Me From Hello" cheers me up. ^_^ and nelly's song, "EI" and "Ride with me" makes me happy, at least for now. :D I love music, and a lot of songs make me happy.

Stuff by Parliament/Funkadelic always brightens my day. Most notbaly, "Flashlight","One Nation Under a Groove", "Aqua Boogie",and "The Mothership Connection (live)".
Weezer's new song "Island in the Sun" is a good one, along with Daft Punk's "One More Time".
A few oldies like The Doors "Touch me". Diana Ross's "Aint no mountain high enough". Tommy/Shondells "Crimson & Clover" and The Monkees "Daydream believer".
Of course, there HAS to be some 80's tunes! LOL! Pet Shop Boys "West End Girls". Adam Ant's "Strip". Dexy's/Runners "Come on Eileen". The Jets "You got it all". ABC "The look of love"...Great, Im in a time warp now..

-The works of Prince and his various backing bands and proteges. So many great songs he did..."When Doves Cry", "I Would Die 4 U", "Baby, I'm Star", "1999", "Controversy", "I Feel For You" (later done in an equally feel-good cover by Chaka Khan), "Sexy M.F", "Christopher Tracy's Parade", "Lady Cab Driver", "Let's Go Crazy", "Delirious", "U Got The Look"...He's released, like, 60 albums and he's only in his early 40s. Who knows what other tricks he has up his sleeve? Besides that, you can include the works of Morris Day & The Time, Vanity (and later Appolonia) 6, and Sheila E.
-The extended mix of "Weird Science" by Oingo Boingo
-"Curiousity" by the Jets
-"Girlfriend Is Better" and "Making Flippy Floppy" by Talking Heads
-"Wordy Rappinghood" by Tom Tom Club
-"T*tties & Beer" and "Valley Girl" by Frank Zappa
-"Part-Time Lover" by Stevie Wonder
-"Dress You Up" by Madonna
-"Weird Al" Yankovic's songs (well, most of 'em, at least)
-ZZ Top's music ("Sleeping Bag" and "Legs" in particular)
-Basically, anything from the late 70s to the waning days of 1991/beginning days of 1992 is music to my ears.
Sincerely,
John "'Captain Caps" Kilduff

"Best Feeling" -Keller Williams
"You and the Mona Lisa" -Shawn Colvin

"Diner" -Widespread Panic
"Come As You Are" -String Cheese Incident
"Unemployed in Summertime" -Emiliana Torrini
I guess that'd be my "Cheer Up" album....

Currently?
"Semi Charmed Life" & "1000 July's" by Third Eye Blind. Just great, upbeat songs
"Falling to Pieces" & "From Out of Nowhere." by Faith No More. I love to sing along or at least try to.
"Take A Picture" by Filter. Another great sing along song.
"Orangeworker" by For Squirrels
"I Hope This Makes It Easier For You" by Actionslacks
"War" by Edwin Starr, brings a smile every time.
"Kung Fu" by Ash
"Jerry Was a Race Car Driver" by Primus. I love the beat, it's really quirky. As much as I hate dancing, I gotta move to this.
"Ghetto Superstar" by Pras, ODB, and Mya. Great bass beat, another great dance song. And Mya's voice is to die for.
You know, it was a lot harder to make the happy music list than the sad music list.

Weird Al always cheeres me up, any song he does is humorous to me. Maybe I'm a little odd though, or maybe its just the voices.
Also the sunscreen song that is about 8 minutes of advice and breif song intermissions. It's just funny, I have no idea why but it makes me happy.
