Selene in: Mind Games
It's a dark night and Jean is sleeping while her mind goes through a war for control.
Astral Plane:
Jean walks up to a shadowy figure.
Jean: Who are you?
The figure becomes visible.
Jean: Madelyne Pryor!!!
Madelyne: Welcome to the lower depths of your mind.
Jean: What are you doing here?
Madelyne: Where else would I be? When our minds connected we were forever linked.
Jean: That can't be. I met you with Nate *.

Madelyne: Nate pulled me out but I was only a psionic ghost. I had to return and I did.
Jean: But you're not the one I sense.
Madelyne: This is the best part; you're going to love this.
A Huge Firebird appears.
Jean: Phoenix!!!
Phoenix: No I am Jean Grey. You're the imposter.
Madelyne: It seems when you accepted the phoenix part that it stole from you, you also accepted part of the phoenix itself, meaning its here too.
Jean: That's why my powers have gotten so much stronger.
Madelyne: Also why you got your telekinesis back.
Jean: Doesn't answer why I am here.
Madelyne: Because its time for you to share.
Phoenix: That's right I am taking this body.
Jean: No I wont let you endanger my friends and family every again.
Jean is suddenly engulfed with rock.
Jean: No, I can't let you escape!!!!
Jean's Bedroom:
Jean: Argh!!!
Cyclops: Jean what is it?

The Next Morning at the Hellfire Club Mansion:
A Flash of a firebird enters Selene's Mind.
Selene: Something's going to happen this day. I sense it.
Selene walks down the stairs with her nightgown on.

Cyclops: Jean why are you ignoring me?
Jean: I don't know Scott maybe cause you are cheating on me.
Jean rushes out the door.

Emma enters.

Cyclops: Jean ran out.

Cyclops: Because of us, Emma.

In the garden:
Emma: Jean hold on dear.
Jean: Back for a rematch?
Emma: What are you talking about?

Emma: Jean, I don't know why you are so hard on Scott it might chase him into another woman's arms.
Jean: You can have him you slut.
Emma: How dare you call me that?
Jean uses her telekinesis to knock Emma to the ground and flies away.
Emma: Jean wait!!
Emma uses her Telepathy to contact Jean's mind.
Emma: Jean talk to me.
Jean: GET OUT OF MY HEAD!!!

At the Hellfire Club Mansion:
Selene: I sense it. Something is coming for me. I just do not know what.
Ding Dong.
Selene: Roberto, get the door.
Sunspot opens the door and sees Jean.
Sunspot: Jean, what are you doing here?
Jean: Out of the way Brat!!
Jean walks up the stairs to Selene.
Selene: Madelyne?
Jean: Wrong answer.
Selene: Miss Grey, What brings you to my door?
Jean: I am here to balance the scales Selene.
Selene: What the hell does that mean?
Jean: It is my job to keep people like you from rising. Your power is getting too strong.
Selene: What are you going to do?
Jean: Exterminate.
Selene: I cannot beat phoenix. The last time I fought Phoenix she was Rachel Summers and I lost if not for Wolverine*.

Selene wraps the floor around Jean.
Jean: Is this what you plan on stopping me with?
Jean breaks free.
Jean uses her telekinesis to throw Selene into a wall and wraps the wall around Selene.
Jean: Telekinesis can do it too but I do it better.
Selene: I will not be killed.
Jean grabs her head and screams aloud. Her outfit changes into a type of Black Queen outfit.
Selene breaks free.
Jean: Miss me Selene?
Selene: Your outfit it looks like Madelyne's Black Queen Outfit. Madelyne?
Madelyne: That's right and I am here to take my revenge.
Selene: What's going on?
Madelyne: Lets just say 3 minds are better then one.
Madelyne pulls Selene to her with her telekinesis.
Madelyne: I wanted to do this for along time.
Madelyne Slaps Selene in the face.
Selene: How dare you?
Selene Blasts Madelyne to the floor.
Selene: Phoenix might be stronger then me but you are not.
Madelyne: We will see.
Madelyne teleports away.
Selene: Somehow even though its Jean's body they can seem to use their separate powers through her body.
Madelyne appears behind Selene.
Madelyne: Not quite!!
Madelyne punches Selene to the floor.
Madelyne: I am not using my powers, I just used Jean's Telepathy to create an illusion that I teleported.
Selene blasts Madelyne through a wall.
Madelyne grabs her head and her outfit changes into the green phoenix outfit.
Selene: Madelyne?
Phoenix: Wrong again Selene. I will not share this body. I must continue my purpose.
A giant Firebird surrounds Jean's body.
Phoenix: You're finished.
Phoenix grabs Selene and smashes her on the floor.
Selene: I need help.
Phoenix picks up a drawer and throws it at Selene but someone out of the shadows jumps in the way.
The Former Black King...
Sebastian Shaw.
Selene: Sebastian? Is that you?
Sebastian: Yes Selene, if I do not interfere my life would be in danger as well. Do not take this as me liking you.
Selene: What do you mean?
Sebastian: Phoenix is attacking the Hellfire Club members. She would probably come after Emma and me next. At least with you on our side we have a chance.
Selene floats back to her feet.
Phoenix: Good the both of you are together.
Suddenly the wall to the right of phoenix is smashed in and a shiny glowing figure approaches.
Selene: Emma, What the hell are you doing here?
Phoenix uses her TK to throw Emma into Selene.
Emma: Selene the only way to beat her is to bring Jean back into control.
Selene: You're right we must enter her mind and bring Miss. Grey's mind back.
Emma and Selene use there Telepathic powers to enter Jean's mind.

Emma: Jean!! Where are you?
Phoenix: GET OUT!!!
Selene: Where are we?
Emma: The Battlefield of the mind. This is where Jean and the others will be fighting for control.
Emma picks up a rock and throws it at Phoenix.
Phoenix: Is that all you have?
Emma: Jean hear me, we need your help, control them. You're in control not them.
Selene: Come on Grey wake up.
Suddenly Jean rises from the ground.
Jean: Phoenix, be gone!!!
Phoenix is engulfed with rock.
Jean: Madelyne, be gone!!
Madelyne disappears.
The Real World:
Jean's body collapses.
Sebastian: I see Jean is back in control.
Emma: We were successful.
Jean: Forgive me. I had no control. Emma let us get back home.
Selene: Don't try this again Miss. Summers.
Emma and Jean exit.
Sebastian: Remember what I have done for you today Selene.
Selene: Do not try to convince yourself Sebastian. You were saving your own skin.
Sebastian kisses Selene's hand.
Sebastian: I look forward to our next encounter Selene.
Sebastian exits.
Selene enters her bedroom.
Selene: I am more exhausted then I realized. I must get some rest before draining all my powers.
Selene lies in her bed and falls to sleep.
