Apparently UPN, has refused to air the 6th ep of GO, and have yanked it from it's schedule, though UPN says it's still in consideration for next season though many people including the creator believ it's dead for good.

Put it on Adult Swim sundays. I mean if they are desperate enough to air Ripping Friends then they'd air anything!

I'm sure lfv would disagree, but Adult Swim has hit it's lowest ebb with bringing back Ripping Friends. Game Over is by far a better show than that.

You know, just because a cartoon is cancelled doesn't mean that it's automatically supposed to go to Adult Swim.

I doubt (and hope) that this ever finds its way to Adult Swim.

Case in point, Stripperella. It was cancelled behind-the-scenes, then brought back on Spike.

Does this mean we won't see the one where Lara Croft sues Raquel? That was the one thing I was looking forward to.

Actually Not True, there Krazymed, as I got the 411 on Stripperella.

First off Stripperella, was done initially by Stan (Marvel Comics) Lee, and in fact the intial 7 episodes (Beauty and the Obese count as 2 of the 7) actually were some of the highest Rated shows on Spike (Next to Gary the Rat), But if you look back about 6 to 7 months ago in August 2003, there was a Lawsuit filed by a Stripper in a Florida Nightclub, accusing Lee of Taking bits of Strip Routines done on the show (that were done by Real Strippers) and putting them on air..(The case was later thrown out).

but did Stripperella get Cancelled? No not really. It was actually Put on Hiatus due to the fact that the show was indeed popular and people were actually watching it. In fact the newer episodes of Stripperella has one thing that the old show doesn't have. (The Lack of Modesty Squares!) but then again we're talking about a show that airs after 11 PM everywhere (Except the Central Timezone) and so this would be justifiable to remove those squares..)

but getting back to the story.....

Stripperella got such good feedback that they did some more episodes and then of course they will put it again on hiatus so that a New Third season will be produced..

but as for Game Over, in which this the subject here, UPN has in fact not even given this show half a chance, but I feel a lot of the reason why this show probably won't go over 13 or so episodes is because of the lack of ideas by the writers, rather then the animation or the Dynamics here..

so if you want to put some blame somewhere, blame it on the lack of Quality writing by the writers for Game Over.. plus the fact that the ratings were indeed low, but as for Stripperella, I say don't count her out .. yet...

I was wondering how long UPN was going to keep Game Over on the air--I read that Game Over's ratings were ranked just above ONE other show "The Mullets"

I personally thought it was okay, and I seriously doubt Mike Lazzo is gonna let it touch Adult Swim

Mike Lazzo would be more than happy to put it on Adult Swim. Considering all the crap they've gotten lately.

Unless I missed something, the only crappy show I've seen on AS is Witch Hunter Robin (I tried to like it, but I just didn't take). The rest are either good to okay (unless you don't like Futurama, Family Guy, Lupin the III, the newer InuYasha eps, Big O uncut, Big O 2, FLCL, Blue Gender, WHR, or the newer episodes of a William Street show--Brak, ATHF, SeaLab 2021, etc)

i think theyre just done with picking up other peoples' trash. let Comedy Central have it. Viacom shows easily transfer to other networks.

If that were true, CN would probably air South Park or--at the very worst--Ren and Stimpy: APC...unless you're implying that Viacom's shows transfer easily within their own channels (i.e., an MTV show goes on VH-1, a VH-1 show goes on Nickelodeon, etc).
