Gookie posted December Cartoon Network highlights in the News Board at
http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=10775
and no mention of Silent Cartoon Night.
Gak said that it might happen, but didn't say it was certain. I really wanted to see Felix the Cat!

Gookie also said
"A 12-hour Christmas programming marathon on December 8
featuring many Hanna-Barbera classics as well as some new programs."
Silent Cartoon Night could well be one of the new programs. You are getting ahead of things. We here at TTTP will probably be among the first to hear definitively about this one way or the other. I wouldn't be at all surprised to hear from Gak or Jerry Beck (either here or at cartoonresearch.com) about this when the details about the Christmas programming are revealed. Let's not get too worried about this yet.

It was my idea to pitch the idea to Mr.Gak about putting together a weekly silent cartoon showcase, and he said that it would air on christmas eve.I still feel confident that this special will air, and to think how good this would be for Cartoon Network to present such a program like this.
