I am assuming that the Lord of the Rings movie is the Ralph Bakshi version, right?

Good move by them with the popularity of the series, but the three films Peter Jackson did are better.

Bakshi's LotR?!

And what's with Teen Titan's weird premier schedule?

Killtacular
04-08-2004, 03:10 PM
Well it's Teen Titans, then a movie presentation, followed by the next Teen Titans premiere.

They might be using this stunt to promote Miguzi. I wouldn't be surprised if the 10 PM Teen Titans premieres have Miguzi packaging, just for that week.

Obi

It would certainly be interesting...Miguzi only being half an hour away from Adult Swim.

I assume "Aftershock" is the TT season finale because it's a 2 parter. Also what company owns those movies? Also more new PPG, hopefully they will be good.

Great. New Teen Titans and a whole boatload of other premeires, CN really is bringing us a lot.

May looks like a great month. The only thing missing from it (to make it really perfect) would be the remaining four Samurai Jack episodes and remaining Ed Edd n Eddy episode. Otherwise though, greatness.

The kids' action cartoon block that's replacing Toonami on weekdays while Toonami moves to Saturday nights.

Miguzi's schedule:
5 - Totally Spies
5.5 - Code LYOKO
6 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
6.5 - Teen Titans

Toonami's schedule (at least for it's premiere date, April 17th)
7 - Duel Masters
7.5 - MOVIE
9 - Jackie Chan Adventures
9.5 - Yu Yu Hakusho
10 - Dragonball GT
10.5 - Gundam SEED

That would put those during the first part of Adult Swim. Also according to the schedule information released today, the last 4 of those are airing at 7.5 PM.

Matt Wilson, i was just wondering where you received the info on the 3 episodes of Totally Spies premiering on those specific dates? I am a member of TurnerResources.com and they don't list the episodes beyond April 18th, same with the CN-TS Schedule. Thankyou. :)

So, we get the entire rest of Teen Titans season 2 within two days time? That's.... kinda odd... but I'm not complaining. Marathon, woo~

Interesting...

Teen Titans should be more spaced out IMO. Have the premieres before the movie in general CN all week and have the movie start at 7.5 followed then rerun the premiere after that. But that's just what I would do.

They are skipping an episode of TMNT? Curse them all! Why on earth would they skip "The King"? It was awesome! I guess it's so all the five parter could air in one week (perhaps a special event?) but I'm still not pleased with this development. If they wanted to skip an episode they should have skipped "The Garbage Man" or another filler episode. "The King" is one shows actually based on a comic (albeit not in the regular series but still in the Mirage volume 1 universe).

Still no YGO premieres eh? Figures... I guess I don't really care though.

I'm chilled. I just don't see the logic in this. As I said before it makes the five parter able to air in one week. None the less... it's a shame for them to not air it. It's a great episode. I probably wouldn't have noticed had I not seen the schedule because I'm sure I wont be able to watch TMNT all that often and I have the DVD's anyway.

If its for Press purposes only then they should make it more private, but they obviously don't so it must not be for press purposes only. I usually use adlink though for grids as TurnerResources usually doesn't give advance grids that are specific, etc.

Are they supposed to go to every website that somehow manages to abtain the link to TurnerResources and tell them to talk it off so that it "stays more private"? Don't blame them for people uselessly signing up because they want insider info.

Actually, its not even for press purposes. It's kind of like the disclaimer before South Park episodes "Due to content this show should be watched by no one" (or something like that)

I've seen Operation B.E.A.C.H. and U.N.D.E.R.C.O.V.E.R., they aired ages ago, here in the UK.

There is a new technology invention shown in U.N.D.E.R.C.O.V.E.R.:

The unfrotunate thing is they made it so you can't just watch at 6.5pm. You have to watch it at 10pm as well because they air the following episode then and not the next day (they air the episode that comes after the 10pm one the previous night). That makes the premieres make more sense but for conventional watching it's awful. It should just be the same episode at 10pm... or better yet... It should be the same episodes of TMNT that was on Miguzi at 10pm.

Are the TT eps on May 5th and 6th still good? My replaytv, as well as the CN website, state that those times will be repeat eps, and not the new ones.

Just wanted to double check. I know how often CN changes things.

Where is Samurai Jack? How long are you guys going to keep us waiting to see the final 4 eps? This is getting rediculous! Either show them now, or release all 52 eps on DVD! They show all new eps of PPG, Dexter, EE&E (one of the worst shows ever created), but when it comes to something good for a change, they don't want to show us the ending.

unfortunately, from what i've heard and read, episode 52 is not the series finale...just the final episode. the series was intended to last longer but it seems CN won't be ordering additional episodes. Hopefully, there will be a dtv that end the series saga. It would really suck to watch a 52 epsiodes over 3 years and get no resolution!

Kinda like HBO's Spawn...but hopefully the rumored Spawn dtv will have some closure...if not at least act as a spingboard for the series to continue.

I'm hoping Jack doesn't goes out like a chump

btw: except for TMNT, there's nothing else of interest to me this month
and for those who haven't peeped the DCAU forum: CN is delaying the last 4 eps of Teen Titans Season Two: "Betrayal", "Fractured", and the two-part season finale "Aftershock". They're playing reruns on May 5th and 6th. Enjoy:rolleyes:

What is dtv?

And yes, it sucks for SPawn. I bought all 3 season DVDs, Todd said the 4th season would conclude everything, then he said they were going to make the conclusion an animated movie, and guess what, we are still waiting. The comics have become crap after issue 100, which is where the story should've ended. I mean they said Malebolgia killed all the devils in Hell and made himself ruler of all 9 levels, I have the first Spawn Bible, could never find any others, but all of a sudden, there was someone higher in power than Male, and I said WTF? Since my dad pays for my Spawn comics, I'm still getting them, hoping somethng good would happen, but nothing has yet. This whole Jason Wynn being the new Clown is stupid.

Anyway, how about SJack has a movie? After all, they made a Dexter movie, and a PPG movie, and it wouldn't surprise me if they made a EE&E movie. Why does CN always screw over the good shows?
