Remeber when Matthew said in another thread that we should have threads where we talk about a specific cartoon. What we like or don't like about it, etc. I figured why not do that, so I pulled out the Beck and Friedwald book, closed my eyes, flipped through the pages, and ploped my finger down into it. It landed on "14 Carrot Rabbit." So, does anyone have anything to say about this Bugs cartoon? Anything good, or bad? You can be nitpicky about the voicing, animation, music, backgrounds, or story...

It's a pretty good Bugs/Yosemite Sam cartoon. It was funny when Sam found gold underground, but it turned out the gold was from Fort Knox. Also, the ending was great. I liked the running through the countries, too.

I think this is one of the best Bugs/Sam cartoons. The voicework is some of Blanc's best, "He jumped 'round like a toady-frog!" I also like the ending, Sam finding gold and then realizing he's broken into Fort Knox. Very good cartoon.

I like "14 Carrot Rabbit" because of Bugs' funny reactions whenever he's around gold. Great animation by the legendary Virgil Ross.:D

Very entertaining cartoon; Sam is as treacherous and stubborn as ever. At one point, Bugs tries to prevent Sam from digging through a ledge, but gets a "Shut up!" and a hurled rock which barely misses, so our hero calmly munches a carrot and watches...classic. The backgrounds were crafted by Irv Wyner (one of the most underrated artists at Termite Terrace IMHO).
