Do you play just "licensed" games from cartoon franchises like "Looney Tunes"(Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle), or something that is really cartoony?

I used to. And yes, I remember the Crazy Castle game-I played it on the old Nintendo back in the day. Games were really simple then compared to the stuff some of my friends play now....and I think a certain charm is lost with that. One of my favorite video games of all time was a Super Nintendo adventure called "Road Runner's Death Valley Rally"...one of the best cartoon games, if not just games, ever in my opinion.

I still play my classic cartoon related video games, but only when I have an incredible amount of free time (which is hardly ever).

They did some really great LT games on the Super Nintendo system, like DEATH VALLEY RALLY, LT BASKETBALL, and RABBIT RAMPAGE (I know a lot of people here dislike it, but I enjoy it a lot). There was also Sega Genesis' DESERT DEMLOTION, which allows you to play the Road Runner or Coyote.

SNES and Sega also brought out the only good incarnations of the Tiny Toons characters, their video games (BUSTER BUSTS LOOSE, ACME ALL-STARS) are more entertaining and funny than any of the episodes in the TV series.

The more recent video games for the newer platforms haven't impressed me alot, but they're still fun to play... I've enjoyed LOST IN TIME (with Bugs) and WAR OF THE WHISKERS (with Tom & Jerry), and there's also the recent KINGDOM HEARTS which used all of the Disney owned characters greatly (of course, I still have moral objections to some aspects of the game).

I haven't played GOIN' QUACKERS with Donald yet, but it's supposedly a good adaption of the Barks universe...

Yeah. I have "Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle 2" for Game Boy. It's been a while since I played it though.

Desert Demolition. I'll be darned, I was looking for the title of that game! That is an awesome game, especially when you move your character and there is like a "score" following every step you take.

I play Bugs Bunny in Double Trouble, Bugs Bunny Lost in Time, and sold the very bad "Looney Tunes Space Race".

I have not played video games for years, but I remember playing Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout over ten years ago.

I think 'Sheep Raider' was the last good LT-based videogame. I'm suprised they made a game based on those Ralf Wolf cartoons, and even more surprised that it was a pretty good game.

I still play my classic cartoon video games and most of them are good. I really like that "Sheep Raider" (titled: "Sheep, Dog And Wolf" in the UK) PS game based on the Ralph and Sam cartoons. "Bugs Bunny Lost In Time" is fun to play, and so is that "Crazy Castle" game. I don't like most of the Tom and Jerry games, and that new "Space Race" game looks bad. I might get that "Looney Tunes: Back In Action" game, which looks fun.

I like "Looney Tunes B-Ball" and "BB: Rabbit Rampage" (yup, Thad, you're not the only one) mainly because of the great references to classic cartoons, some of which were quite obscure. I remember an entire level dedicated to Bob Clampett's "Kitty Kornered".

I also like, although to a lesser extent, "Death Valley Rally", "Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions" and "BB Birthday Blowout"

In general, I'm a huge fan of the Mario Bros., Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong and Pokemon sagas, as well as the dancing simulators DDR and Pump It Up.

But, the game is a lot of fun. I don't like the Paris level too much though, it's really boring. But the other levels (WB Backlot, Sam's Wooden Nickel, Area 52, and Jungle Ruins) are loads of fun and surprises. And has some of the best dialougue I've ever heard in a game.
DAFFY: Idiot programmers could have heated the water!

Daffy: It's good quality, but too me its all cardboard and putty, and that's just the human characters!

Bugs: You know, there aint no shame in agnowledging your limitations.

Bugs (whenever Owl Jolson shows up in the game): I love a little old-fashioned crooning.

Daffy (whenever Owl Jolson shows up): If he's the host, this place is in trouble.

Daffy (in the Jungle Ruins level): Of all places to put a hidden booby trap, they HAD to pick the nose!

Daffy (apon seeing Foghorn Leghorn who appears periodically throughout the game): What's with this rooster? I feel like I'm being stocked!

I also love the majority of Looney Tunes that appear in the game. Speedy Gonzales is even in it! In two leves!

My only dissapointment was the ending to the video game.:(

Imo, both original Tazmania games for Sega Genesis were the greatest cartoon/video game adaptions ever made.

Also, does anyone else remember Bugs Bunny on oldschool Gameboy where you had to slide through pipes and shoot up and down elevators to grab all the carrots while dropping anvils and launching oversized boxing gloves into the faces of Yosemite Sam, Sylvester, Daffy, etc?

I still remember waking up at like 6am every morning at sleepaway camp when I was 11 and the entire bunk would be fast asleep so I'd sit up in bed for like 2 hours straight playing that on Gameboy with the volume turned low, all summer long waiting for the rest of the kids to wake up. Such memories...

:)

Oh yeah, and Goin Quackers was a damn fun game! I rented it last year and returned it a week and a half later with like $30 late charges...
