Well, tomorrow will be the final HM. I started this thread for us all to cry and remember Brendon Small's GREATLY AWESOME cartoon.

The first time I saw it was on October 13, 2002. "Renaissance" I didn't really get into the show until "Get Away From My Mom" first aired after Futurama. Since then, I've seen every episode, laughed and cryed (mainly tomorrow night) and enjoyed Brendon Small and his friends and coach and mom and best friend Fenton.

My favorite moment of the series was The Wizard's Baker rock opera and Franz Kafka rock opera. Mainly rock operas.

My least favorite moment is the end credits on "Focus Grill" and the pits (I mean pecs).

I am sad.

Yes, I am.

:Sniff:

It's sad. As long as they keep playing the reruns it's alright, though.

October 13th, 2002, huh? And you're crying over it?

Maybe it's just the way I am, I first saw it on AS's very first night, September 2nd, 2001, and I'm feeling blue 'bout it, but not enough to tear up. I really can't cry for television shows ending, because it isn't like you'll never see 'em again, there's still reruns, I'm just sad 'cause no more new movies, that's all.

Anyways, yes, it's very sad. And I'll miss HM as much as the next guy. (can't wait for Landstander's =( posting)

Let's hear for Home Movies!

For-

HE'S A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW
FOR HE'S A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW
HE'S A JOLLY GOOD FELLOW!

Which nobody can ever deny!...

We'll miss you, HM...

Sorry I really got attached to something. Sorry, I didn't see it the first time it aired, just because I started watching 1 and a half ago doesn't I can't like it.

If you're gonna say that, well, you didn't see on UPN.

Sorry I'm sad. Jesus.

Ya know everyone shouldn't be feeling down, the creators are doing other projects and expanding their creativity and possibly in the future will create somthing that could be better than Home Movies...

I mean they've done quality shows in the past like Dr.Katz...so they have a good track record...

oh and watch this:

That was...beautiful. Thank you.

It had more references then 10 Family Guy episodes put together! Where do I begin, Fred Savage, Space Ghost, Ranma Female Mode, the Energiser Bunny, Fonz for President...

But most importantly, poor HM.

Back before AS started, I was already psyched to watch it. But when I found out it was going to have Home Movies, I freaked , thinking: " YAY! I can get to watch that old show on UPN I saw 2 or 3 times because it takes me forever to change to new channels! YAHOO!" :p

I proceeded to boast my infinite geek knowledge by telling those who I knew what this show was about and where it had come from, even getting some excited.

It was quite a trip, even becoming AS's flagship. It did GREAT ratings IN THE BEGINNING, COMPARED to the rest of the block and the other channels at that time, NOT outdoing other channels or putting the rest of the block to shame, but still good.

That was BEFORE Futurama and Family Guy came (which I also love).

OF COURSE it wouldn't do as good, and chances are it would've done better teamed-up with Family Guy if it was AFTER FG, so as to pick up people who were finished watching FG and didn't feel like turning off the tv nor wanting to change the channel. You would get some, but not as many viewers turning in early. They would prefer to watch something else in whole then chunks of something while awaiting another.

BUT none of that may matter at all since it might be that stupid episode limit...

Oh wait, cheerful thoughts. Uhhhhhhhh, thanks again for the awesome link Artimus Gigan! That should do it...

C'mon guys, who needs Home Movies? We've got to get ready for SQUIDBILLIES!! I'm sure the greatness pumped into every second of that gem will require us to prep for it, and what better way than sitting through the same 5 shows repeated endlessly until we wish they were cancelled?

I hate AS.

I got a new sig.

Tonight Emo Phillips performs in Louisville. I'm only going Sunday instead of Saturday because it's 16 and over. It's a coincidence it happened to be the same day as the last episode ever.

I don't know if it would be considered spamming, it's sorta a constructive side topic

You're right, here are my forums (http://zimed.net/forums/), they can be viewed to soften the blow of not having HM.

Ironically, on my first night of Adult Swim, I thought that Home Movies mainly sucked. Then again, my favorite show the first night was The Brak show. And yet HM's last episode makes me feel 50 times sadder then Brak's. Maybe because they had the potential to do more. Oh well. Here's to you, Home Movies.

...... I was going to put something, but then realized I had nothing.

I remember back int he day, when Home movies briefly replaced Futurama, me and like 3 other people were defending it from everyone else on the [as] baords. I didn't even watch the show much back then, I was just kinda sick of Futurama. And pre-teen idiots on the [as] baords.

Farewell Home Movies. 1999-2004. May you live in on in our memories or as reruns.
