"Game Over" Talkback- Double Header- "Into The Woods & Alice & The CATs" (4-2)

In tonight's back to back block of GO, with 2 new back to back eps. In the first one at 8/7 central, is "Into The Woods", the second new one is with Billy falling in love with an anime foreign exchange ninja sutdent. Sounds great!

Alice and the CATs was the first Game Over I saw. Didn't really have as much humor as I was expecting, and little of it was video game-based, but it had its moments.

I cought the shows right when I got home from seeing Hellboy. Both episodes where kind of "meh" for my tastes. They just really need to just tweek the family's personalities a bit (such as the son, who I find anoying), and scrap Turbo. Then it could be funnier, and I then might make more of an effort to catch it.

I enjoy this series, but its nothing I go out of my way to see.

I just think its an occasional fun watch. When the father and son were throwing the gun back and forth at the end of the first episode today, I was in stitches because of the birds falling in the background.

And the whole anime parody was also rather amusing. The show isn't grade A comedy, but its charming and amusing. The kind of TV a person with little to watch and a whole lot of free time would like.

Considering how many people hate Turbo, I figured everyone will be commenting on how much they liked seeing him get beatup by the cops at the end of the 8:00 episode.

At first I just wanted Turbo to have something horrible happen to him, but now I want something equally painful to happen to Billy. That kid needs a major smackdown until he learns how to speak and act like a normal kid.
