View Full Version : No Warning Whatsoever Before The Spoiler!! Grrrrrr!!

Ok there! I haven't been able to get on the net for over a week. I finally get on, read all this cool news, and then I see the spoiler warning on the news page for info on the JL cast of villains. Now, I chose not to read the rest because I like to be surprised, even though I know rumours are rampant across the net and on boards. But, I made a personal choice not to read the info on the Justice League villains, because I would still like there to be some surprises in store for me when I watch it.

THEN , I come to the message boards to converse with you guys, read a title about Darksied and Poison Ivy being on JL, figure any spoilers will, as usual, be after a warning or be hidden in one of those nifty "highlight the area to read" things, but instead THE POSTER JUST GIVES SPOILERS AWAY WITHOUT ANY REGARD TO OTHERS READING THE BOARD!!! Sufficive to say, I AM IRATE!!! This is just as bad as when people give away the ending to movies or books, only ten times worse because I thought that since we've all waited so long for a new series, that the psoters here would have more respect for the people who chose not to spoil this LONG-AWAITED NEW SHOW for themselves!!!! I am really pissed off, folks. Kindly fix this so that no one else gets screwed over!

hey, i posted that thread. sorry if it upset anyone, but hey, i just didnt see it as spoiler info. it was listed on the news page and is pretty general info. its the same as what was coming out of comic con. so i really dont see how its such spoiler info, but sorry if it ruined anything for anyone.

hehe..good thing I didn't read that thread.. ;)

I know where you are coming from Disney Boy..it happens to me alot...especially w/ the spoilers around Episode 2..not everything is in "highlight" mode a some consider it "common knowledge"...

Tell you what. We'll do our best from here on out to be careful and err on the side of caution. But it is sometimes hard to tell what is "spoilers" and what is "common knowledge."

True, the info was on the news page, but it was listed AFTER a spoiler warning.

No hard feelings on the accident (heck, I've done it a time or two), but be careful in the future. Nothing annoys some people more than accidental exposure to spoilers...

I appreceate the positive feedback on this, but I just don't understand how this particular peice on info would be construed as "common knowledge". Sure, it was listed on the news page and explained at the Comic Con, but, exactly how many of us were at the Con? I realize that we're all here to get the inside scoop, but it should be our choice, not other people's, whether or not we want to know everything. I'm still pretty miffed since it would have been a really big shock to watch these developments unfold on tape (but since I don't catch Cartoon Network, I'll probably have to listen to all the USA residents fill me in-which sucks enough already). Be careful y'all: don't assume. I know the moderators will do their best.
