MINOR SPOILERS (only the stuff that's been announced across the net)

A Batman-focused episode, from my perspective, is something that's very hard to achieve (but can be done) in something like JL. Batman hates having adventures in space, and is much more comfortable down on Earth. With JL, it's HUGE. We have Superman going to Warworld, an episode with GL and Flash in Gorilla City, and one focusing on the King of Atlantis! That's why I'm really hoping for the Batman DTVs, because it's unlikely that a JL episode will focus on him.

But there's always Ra's Al Ghul. If there's gonna be a Batman-focused episode, I think Ra's Al Ghul would work perfectly. Yes, I AM talking about "Tower of Babel!" Gosh, who'da thunk it? :D :D :D

I know for a fact there will be a Batman focused episode of JL and a Batman focused comic of JLAdv. I know the plot for the comic and it sounds like it'll be enjoyable. Unfortunatly, I can't say anything, The episode, well, I've heard bits and peices about it. But there will be a Batman focused episode where we'll get to see all his Detective skills.

neato (ahhh must fight possession by greg brady), I can't wait to see a guest episode from the prospective of Plastic Man (JL on Acid, folks). Also it would be neat to watch a detective show down between Batman and Elongated Man.

That's great.... Tower of Babel would be the bomb. I'd pass out if they decided to make that story an episode or two...

Tower of Babel would work well...They'd have to at least wait 3/4 of a season IMO for it to really work. For obvious reasons it just wouldn't work until Bats got to know the JL better. But that would really be a great story.

(possible spoiler)

Jerry Beck's review at www.awn.com said that the pilot episode seemed like an episode of Batman with a heck of a lot of guest stars.

So don't worry, you'll get your Batman. :)

I was under the impression that each character would have one "spotlight" episode. If that is the case, I was originally hoping for the Batman spotlight to feature the "original" Royal Flush Gang mentioned in Batman Beyond. The RFG were JLA villians in the comics, after all. And I think it might be logical for Batman to call in some help against an entire group of badguys, just to even the odds. But now that I have seen the list of villians scheduled to appear in season one, I'm guessing that Batman will be the featured Leaguer in the episode starring Dr. Destiny as the villian (only because Destiny was an inmate at Arkham Asylum in the comics).

I don't think that Batman would ever, ever call on JL unless it was something that threatened the whole world that was clearly too difficult for him to handle on his own. I can't see him ever deciding to call on all of JL for help against a supervillian team unless it was clear to him that he was totally out of his league against them. The same can probably be said for all of the others, too, but especially of Batman. They don't want to depend on the other team members for every problem, just major ones.
