I wish I could say this is a surprise. I guess we were all wrong and those cartoons were never made.........

This is always a tough situation. We will not screen the few T&J cartoons that depict racially degradating stereotypes out of context. That's part of our responsibility "pledge" to parents and children. In years past, we have shown them within a ToonHeads documentary format to show the historical significance of these cartoons, but that has always been with several caveats to warn viewers of the material.

Perhaps I should have included a footnote about the T&J cartoons we do not screen, but I didn't want to make an issue out of this when the point of the release was to celebrate TOM AND JERRY's rich history. I'm sure you understand.

Like I said before, CN thinks Boomerang is for toddlers and parents, not animation fans.

That's more a regularly order of Tom and Jerry aired on Cartoon Network.

Also, Who's ''Baby Butch'' has mostly ''Baby Puss''?

No, I don't understand. How can you celebrate their rich history when they don't even show the shorts featuring one of the most beloved characters of the series. Stupid, stupid people. I'm sure the DVD release will conveniently forget these shorts too.

It's OK to show racially "degradating" stereotypes... as long as the race "degradated" is white !
