Here's the deal. I want to tape the premiere of I'm Popeye. Here's the snag.

"I'm Popeye" premieres on the weekend of the 4th Sunday in October. The last two 4th Sundays in October of odd numbered years, I have spent in the state of Georgia on business.

So far, I haven't heard whether I'll be sent over there. If I go, I'll have access to Dish Network, and a VCR, but I don't know how to do so, in order to tape the first "I'm Popeye" episode.

What would I need, if this 4SIO turns out to be like the other 4SIOs?

The same way you would hook up your cable box to the VCR.
Connect the output to TV to the VCR Coax in, then on the VCR connect the OUT to TV to the TV's input.

Remeber to set up your VCR to the same channel as your receiver. I recommened channel 3 for both. I couldn't record for the longest because the reciever was not on the same channel as the VCR.

right, what they said.

The main problem many people have with recording is that they try to go from satellite to the tv and then to the vcr. It HAS to be from the satellite to the vcr and then to the tv...
