Harry Potter Dreams

I had two very weird dreams last night, that were centered around Harry Potter. Now, I'm a big fan of the books and the movies, but I didn't watch or read any last night. Here are the dreams:

The first one was in Hogwarts. We were in the entrance hall (I assume). Harry was running and got in trouble. Snape was giving him detention right there in the hall. Snape said, "You will leave the school. You will have to live in a cubicle. No magic! For 10." This, to me, is very similar to Pris of Azkaban. After snape finished talking, Harry said "No magic!?" And started to burst into tears.

The second one was in a place I can't remember. But Ron was there. Both him and me were being silly. Then, I fell to the ground, and he held his hand out to help me up. Then, he said "Kiss me." And I said "Not yet!". Then, I woke up.

I've had several Harry Potter dreams too, both me being Harry (despite the fact I'm a girl) and I was running from Voldemort. Aren't dreams fun?:p

Kurt, can I wager a guess that you relate to Hermione? It kind of sounds like you were playing her part. I don't think I've had Harry Potter dreams before but I've dreamed with all sorts of geeky themes, be it video games or Buffy or whatnot. Usually, I will start out impartially, as if I was watching, then I get closer and closer to the action of the story that I wind up being one or more of the characters and/or being my own character. Anyone jive?

Why did Ron want me to kiss him!? That's the part that's still freaking me out. Ron? Why not Harry? Everyone is supposed to like Harry, because he's so brave and famous. Except for PoA, when Ron got his five minutes of fame.

To be honest, i'm a Ron Weasley fan. I do see the relationship between him and hermione developing as the books go on. Regardless, Ron is my fav, Harry is cool, but I almost never like the heros in stories, they get too much already. Besides, Harry is sort of self-centered. He sits there feeling sorry for himself all the time. I know he sort of has a right to, but it does get kinda old. Ron is cool and does a lot; Hermione is cool too, but still too much of a snob sometimes.

But no, I've never dreamt about the HP crew.

I'm SO glad that I'm not the only one who thought of Harry and Ginny. When I read the book I thought that. And, is it just me or in the movies, do they try to get Harry and Hermione closer? Here are the things I noticed: The hugs, and when she got turned into stone from the baslik he held her hand. And that's how he found the clue. It's like all signs point to they want them to date. Weird, eh? :shrug:

I think JKR has set up the possiblities of Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny *so* well that I wouldn't be surprised if things got thrown into chaos and that didn't happen. She's done a fabulous job of planting things and then coming back and having them not happen the way you would expect.

Personally I like Snape the best. He's the most mysterious character and very much a wild card. How are you supposed to predict him? Great character, plus he's an adult and much more complex, although I expect the trio to get more complex as things move along, that much atleast has started in book 5.

I've had my share of HP dreams, but I'm renown for my odd dreams, so they don't usually catch me off guard.

I think JKR has set up the possiblities of Ron and Hermione and Harry and Ginny *so* well that I wouldn't be surprised if things got thrown into chaos and that didn't happen. She's done a fabulous job of planting things and then coming back and having them not happen the way you would expect.

I am not sure if I've had Harry Potter dreams, but it's probable. I've had a few cool dreams lately but I can't remember them! :sad:

You're perfectly normal hon. I'm always dreaming about Hogwarts, or Dumbledore, or spending all day in the school's library....hey I'm a bookworm, of course I'm going to dream about the Hogwarts Library, it's huge!!!! I've dreamt about going there, adventures at the school, about Sirius Black when he was younger.....yeah, you're certainly not alone, lol.

And yeah, the way the mood seems to be flowing, it looks like Ron and Hermione are getting hooked together. Though I think it would be rather nifty to see something between Hermione and Draco.

I adore all the characters, but my fav is Dumbledore.
