SWEEEEEET!
Totally on model. Great poses. Nice colors. You rock.
Nightwing has a cute little expression.
What did you use to make the animation?
Wow! Absolutely gorgeous work, Spidey. I certainly wouldn't be able to tell them from the originals at all, and as Catwoman says, gotta love those expressions :D
Can't wait to see more!

Oh my. These would put Bruce Timm to shame. It's great how Robin's cape is flowing. Two thumbs up.

Thanks for the comments, everybody.:D
What did you use to make the animation?
I always use Paint Shop Pro 7 for everything (Animation Shop in this case). I made eight frames for each character, then pasted them both together (making sure the movements of the hair and cape matched up enough). I think they're running at around 8 fps. I already had Robin made awhile ago, and then I recently decided that I might as well make the whole set.:D
I'll work on the characters when I have the time, making two heroes, then two vilains (I already have an idea for Joker/ Harley Quinn and Two-Face/ Penguin). The reason I'm pairing the characters up is to minimize the amount of time in downloading the images, but I'm eventually planning on making some stage sets to place all the characters in (a panaramic view of some Gotham rooftops or the Batcave, for example). The characters will have to be shrunken down somewhat, so that's the other reason I'm showing them in individual pairings; in order to view them at regular size. If anyone wants me to, I can break up each pair into single characters.
Once I get done with TNBA, STAS will be next, moving on up to Justice League. I wonder if the World's Finest site would be interested in using these...?
BTW, for some reason, I feel like I'm making an internet-based set of Hero Clix, lol.
I've always loved your work Spidey, this is no exception. If you continue with this gallery, I'd love to see you do a Superman from Superman TAS. That'd be awesome.

Thanks, Amazing Spidey!:D
If you continue with this gallery, I'd love to see you do a Superman from Superman TAS.I think for Superman, I'll make something similar to his promo picture for the series (the one that has him standing patriotically on the rooftop looking at the camera):
World's Finest has the series promo I was talking about. (http://wf.toonzone.net/WF/sections/gallery/superman/09.jpg)
I always thought that was the best pose I've seen of Supes.
I also have a really good, creepy idea for Toyman that pays tribute to his "Fun and Games" episode. I'll probably pair him up with Bruno Manheim too...

I don't think Spidey made the Superman one, Hobojo. I think he was just showing the Superman promo he was refering to.

I found the picture at the World's Finest website, and I had no part in making it (I'll go specify that in the post now).
*crosses fingers and hopes that Spidey is really a 'he'*You guessed correctly! :D

great animations, spidey. i'm a fan of yours, having seen your dead on robin animation a few months ago, and nightwing is right in line with him. love to see you do a little action shot, like supes or even webhead punching out a villain, that'd be cool. funny what you can do with so little frames and make a fluid animation out of them, isn't it...

That'd be quite a project...but I would love to do it. Actually, I still have the beginnings of a Batman Beyond short sequence storyboarded, but I haven't worked on it anymore since I started it (which was when I first joined Toonzone). Maybe I should get working on that...

Especially since the bandwidth changes speed on my dial-up, making the animation move at various speeds. It makes it look like I've put more frames in it than I actually did.

I'm still working on them, but in the meantime, I'll just keep my latest stuff in this thread too.
Here's Kenshin. (http://www.angelfire.com/film/spidey2099animatedhq/images/firefliesfr11.gif)
I wanted the animation to repeat (and it should have), but I guess the bandwidth can't hold 2MB and cycle the frames too. Dang.
Toyman's next.
I like it. I can see the formatting problems though, your avatar pics moves a hell of a lot faster than this (plus you ditched your Spidey avatat  )
Looking forward to Toyman

Just wondering, have you been asked to/ever considered drawing for the DKA comic series? I mean, their work is nice but your work kicks ass! I mean, you could always draw my comic scripts:D but I don't know if you'd like that as much as drawing DKA, lol.

Just wondering, have you been asked to/ever considered drawing for the DKA comic series?Sorry it took me this long to respond.
There were a couple ideas that I wanted to do, but I need to work them out some more. College keeps me pretty busy, so I wouldn't be able to do anything over a long period of time, but after talking to Flash, the editor of DKA, I don't think there would be a problem if I pitched a story or two (which, like I said, is really all I've got at the moment:sweat: ).
Plus, I don't really want to impose on the creative team's terrific run they have going on in the book.
And thanks for the comments! :D You too, Am. Spidey!

Well, I'm still stuck in my Kenshin phase...here's an animation I'm working on for Sano:
http://www.angelfire.com/film/spidey2099animatedhq/images/Sano_1.jpg
It's the first frame only. Even though I haven't drawn it in yet, he's flingin' around his Zanbatou (big sword-thingy for those who haven't seen the series). I have two more frames made to go with it, but...it just doesn't look right yet (calculating all that centrifugal force, wind movements, should his jacket move left or right--bah!)
*Ahem* So, moving on...
Toyman's colored, Manheim's inked, but I won't show them yet 'til I'm completely finished (and I'm sure that I've made Toyman as creepy as possible).
Ah, look at me...I'm multi-tasking (I'm so proud).:D
