Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends Returns to ABC Family This Weekend!

According to a change in the scheduale, ABC Family will air the follwing episodes of Spider-Man And His Amazing Friends

Saturday 10:30 a.m. - "Triumph of the Green Goblin"
Sunday 10.30 am - "The Fantastic Mr. Frump"

The above episodes replace 2 episodes of Spider-Man: Unlimited.

oooh, another zinger for unlimited! i wonder what was behind that change? i'm willing to bet it was poor ratings. well, to be honest, i'm more interested in seeing the spiderman and friends eps i've missed...

It seems like that they will be airing episodes in order, so we'll be able to see the episodes that they didn't air before. Hopefully, we can get some good discussion going with our talkbacks. I'll post them.

I'm very disappointed that Spider-Man Unlimited didn't get at least one full run on ABC Family. :sad: Since they were showing two episodes a weekend, it would have been completed in 6.5 weeks - and if it was doing bad by that point, then I'd have no problems with them airing Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends in its place.

This isn't to say I'm unhappy with the return of Amazing Friends to TV - I'm very happy, as it means that we can discuss those episodes! :p I just wish that it wasn't at the expense of Unlimited.

Spider-Man: Unlimited will return next week. Amazing Friends is this week only. :)

Thanks for the correction! :sweat: I wonder why they're doing that, though? It would make more sense, in my opinion, to let let Spider-Man Unlimited have a full run, and then run Amazing Friends after instead of re-running episodes. That way, you don't end up with everyone burned out on the Unlimited episode because they've seen them four times or more.

Another idea - which I think would be a crowd pleaser - would be for them to air Unlimited on either the Saturday or Sunday, and Amazing Friends the other day.
