It's offical, the NY POST reported today that CN will premeire the "I'M POPEYE SHOW" on Oct. 28.It also said that many of the cartoons haven't be shown in their original theatrical state since the early 50s.The show will feature both of the Fleischer toons and the Famous Studios shorts.

I'm getting siked up for this show gang....:D

I will record this on the best video speed...and that's (SP) mode for the best recording possible for sound and quality. And it's just one week away from this Sunday. :D :) :D :)

I was a big Popeye fan when I was a kid, and I can't wait to tape "I'm Popeye" and see all kinds of new ones! :D

Same here, I had Popeye curtains, a picture of Popeye in my room and a Popeye doll. Now I'm getting all psyched about Popeye again. I am definitely taping this one every week.

This will be the BEST classic cartoon show that CN has put together this year...And I hope that following "I'm Popeye, that LNB&W will start to show other rare goodies, such as Bosko & Buddy which would be a great start.

Keep in mind that the I'm Popeye" show will be mostly the Flesicher B&W cartoons...So there's always hope.

But it looks like late Sunday nights on CN will be a really great late night line-up.

An added bonus is that not only were the original opens and closings were put back, but the cartoons themselves are restored!

I'm so enthused about this show that I might buy a new VCR so I can set a timer and record in standard.

I'm seriously thinking about doing the same.
