You know, the ones with the Woody shorts. I know the print of "Chew-Chew Baby" is a crappy DVNR print, but I hear great things about "The Dippy Diplomat". I plan on actually getting all of them, except for a few. Any comments on how the other cartunes look? "Pantry Panic"? "Juke Box Jamboree"? "Fair Weather Fiends"?

They're great newly restored prints, and slightly letterboxed in the very begining of the film. It's very good...

Yes, but which ones use a LOT of DVNR? I mean where the characters' faces are blurred in some scenes, like "Chew-Chew Baby".

Hey Thad,

I purchased four of them and the prints look generally very good. Of the ones I did get, "Chew-Chew Baby" is the worst. "The Dippy Diplomat" and "Pantry Panic" have NO DVNR at all, and "Jukebox Jambouree" has minimal DVNR which becomes very obvious during the scene when the cactus dances with the mouse (the prickles kind of break up on and off for the whole sequence... ) otherwise it looks good, and it's completely unedited (yay, intact boozing scenes, yay!!)

I plan on getting the other ones eventually, I can comment on them then- (there are only six of them, right?)

;)

P.S. There used to be a link somewhere of what titles were included on which movie tapes.... can someone enlighten me on where that was found????

Thanks!

I have a video guide for the Lantz cartunes, and here's what's on them:

HERE COME THE CO-EDS
"Chew Chew Baby"

HIT THE ICE
"Ration Bored"

HOLD THAT GHOST
"Pantry Panic"

THE NAUGHTY NINETIES
"The Dippy Diplomat"

ONE NIGHT IN THE TROPICS
"Knock Knock"

PARDON MY SARONG
"Nutty Pine Cabin"

THE TIME OF THEIR LIVES
"Fair Weather Fiends"

WHO DONE IT?
"Juke Box Jamboree"

Also, there were four A&C Horror tapes with repeated titles, which were "Chew-Chew Baby", "Ration Bored," "Pantry Panic," and "The Dippy Diplomat". I'd be interested in seeing some of these, so if any of you guys have these tapes, e-mail or PM me, and we'll work something out.
