So I've been hearing a lot about envelopes/packages containing anthrax turning up in the mail...in particular at ABC and NBC and in the Congressional offices of Dem. Sen. Tom Daschle.
Is anyone else thinking of the Batman ep "Fear of Victory" in which Scarecrow sends letters tainted with his fear drugs to GHS football players to cause them to throw games while he rakes in money betting on the other team?
So does anyone wonder if some depraved minds are now drawing their inspiration from Saturday morning cartoons? And if Batman was still in network circulation, would this episode be trimmed from syndication packages for hitting too close to the truth?

Dude, we already have everybody scrambling to remove any and all references to towers from movies and cartoons, now you will get them removing all and any references to drugs in envelopes! And probably any kind of white powder too!

I honestly don't think StAM influenced the Bin Laden terrorists. Somehow I don't think they are watching Batman TAS there.

I'm thinking that's a possibility if the Anthrax threat contines to grow. It is uncanny how the terrorists act mirror recent movies and television - like they are copying them. With a recent episode of Batman Beyond (HEROES) being shelved temporarily becuase of exploding buildings and such, I wouldn't be suprised if CN shelves this one for awhile.

I think it is because in the darkest corners of our hearts, we know what evil man is capable of. We just put it in "entertainment" to make the realizations we have a little easier to take.
