So thats what they end up makin' up for Shiryu's sight loss. It was a good thing that I missed this episode.

Nah, that was bull I made up, althought I won't be surprised if they came up with that, I was too busy playing Super Mario All Stars, whuch I dug up from my storage room.:D

Anybody saw it?

they say, a spell blinded shyriu or something.

Who remembers how shyriu loose his sight ?

In the original, Shiryu pokes his own eyes so hard he blinds himself. No mentioning of any spell.

And how they mannaged to go around the blood that was comming out of his eyes, wait don't tell me they just changed the color didn't they.

Me saw greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen blood dripping from his eyes! he musta used a bad spell since he was loosing so much mystical power! but then when in the hospital there was red blood being given to him hmmm. I want these voices with an uncut dub!*doesn't want ADV, can't really stand there VAs*

i'd love to collect St. Seiya just to get around watching it edited. But darn it, i've got too much i'm still getting. Maybe later SS, maybe later ....

It also looks like he's crying too:sweat: , DIC you fool you forgot to change the blood into gatorade in the hospital scene!:mad:

They had his sensei in the flashback spout some BS about a technique for heightening his other senses by not using one of them for a while, along with the warning that it's dangerous because the sense you stop using might not come back.

But once I saw the blood running down his face I knew what he'd really done, and the editing didn't take away any of the shock value for me. :eek:

Very shocking but at the same time you love the character, he sarifices his sight to save his friends, that's one of the things that makes the uncut SS so special, it's not just fighting but shows the true value of friendship!
