Yes, thats right... The Real Alien Mod needs your help... more to the point, those who are in HS right now, going to graduate or graduated already last year!
I recieved a commission to design a brochure for a photographer who does mostly HS prom and graduation photos and this brochure is for graduation pictures. The help I need, basically, is this: what type of designs appeal to those attending High School? I want to make this thing appealing as possible without making it too dated and last 5 - 10 years.
Now, the only stipulation is this: I am only stuck with two colors (black and a light violet color).
Well thats it... Lets me hear your ideas, folks! :D

I need more information.
Who is the target audience? High school students? Teachers? Parents?
When is the graduation and prom being held?
What kind of resources do you have? Eg. Apple? Photoshop?
How many people do you have working for you?
Money to spend on?

Youre taking this a bit too seriously, RZetlin... :p
As I said, Its to high schoolers for their graduation pictures (this is a blanket brochure going to multiple schools).
You dont have to worry about resources... Its only me designing (money and hours is my secret :D).
I am only doing the design here... all text and photos are being supplied to me. All I want to know is what type of design appeals to those in high school.
Luckybob has it right. Make thick black boxes to go around the pictures.

Well Outlander00, in my opinion, I think that u should go with the lighter violet coler because it depends on what you wear and your hair color and all that jazz to have the black background work just right! Just thought I'd tell u my opinion!

Encircle the pictures with stars so it'll make 'em ALL feel like the "best and brightest". Hey. I went to a biased high school.
