Is there a uncensored subtitled version of the anime movie available on DVD? I wish Sony would do a superbit of the Street Fighter movie. Should I just get the Japanese DVD with no subtitles?

Is there a uncensored subtitled version of the anime movie available on DVD? The only SF2: The Animated Movie DVD in the U.S. is the one released by Sony in 1997, the one with English only audio and small parts of Chun Li's shower scene taken out.
I wish Sony would do a superbit of the Street Fighter movie. Yeah, I second the Superbit idea. Since this was released in the early days of DVD, there were NO special features (not even a menu!), so this is begging for a proper re-release, especially considering the Street Fighter Alpha DVD series.
Should I just get the Japanese DVD with no subtitles? Do you have a DVD player that can play a non-R1 DVD? Then go for it.

There is no [legal] 100% uncensored version of SF2 anime with Jap voices and English subs.

I'm not sure but I think some blood was also taken out. Such as when Ryu Dragon Punched Sagat and Ryu's head butt to the nose of that guy he was forced to fight before fighting Fei Long.

Correct on the Sagat fight. Negative on the pre-Fei Long fight.

When Ryu "Shoryuken"ed Sagat, an entire gush of blood came up diagonally from his chest. Which kind of explains the huge pink scar a little better than simply Ryu punching his chest kinda hard.

As for the pre-Fei long fight, that was all that happened, Ryu caved the guys face in.

One of the other bigger edits was when the assassin that took out that Hindu leader got shot, you saw a little bit more of him actually getting shot.
